As I mentioned in my Profile, I’m a Man of Faith. And I have specifically experienced and leaned on the Spirit of God, which resides in me (and you). So I’m technically “ENTHEOS”, which in Greek translates “having the God Within.” I had this concept in mind when I first heard “Run This Town,” from Jay-Z’s latest album “The Blueprint 3.” It features Kanye West and Rihanna, and Rihanna’s chorus (which you can sample by clicking on the Amazon link or watch in it’s entirety on the YouTube video) really jumped out at me. My love for music makes my writings come out as lyrics to songs and I’ve always dreamed of having one of my songs produced by one of my favorite artists. You may not be into Hip-Hop or Hard Rock music, but I haven’t heard any artists which speak more from the heart than Jay-Z, Kanye West, and LinkinPark (along with James Taylor, David Gray, and in his own way, James Blunt). So- Jay, Kanye, LinkinPark- if you somehow read this, this song is a combination of “Run This Town” and “Bleed It Out,” set to the lyrics of “Aim For Stars.” See what you think…….
