Even if I had that kind of money I wouldn't spend it on a gala "I am great" event.. There are too many people struggling to put food on the table, pay their mortgage, car payments etc. Every-time I see such a display of waste I know it isn't about the people. It is all about the candidate, the Hollywood celeb, human insecurity a need to show the world how great he/they are.

If Obama & his friends want to pay more taxes, there is nothing stopping them from doing it. They certainly make more than I do or those I work with. Those who want higher taxes can send in more, donate their refunds (if they have any). Why don't they do that send in more, they can afford it? Why do they want to tax a small business guy, why do they want to cut into his income? $200 - $250,000 is not wealthy. After paying overhead, inventory, employees, taxes, social security, medicare, health care, why would anyone want to own a business? Without small business many of us would not have jobs. European countries like France and others have double digit unemployment and a larger welfare roll. Government does not create jobs, except for those jobs paid for by the taxpayer. Government does not create, they take it. They create dependence (slavery). Even though Obama says I will get a "tax cut", I don't want it, I don't want his health care, I don't want redistribution of wealth. If I actually achieve my goals he will penalize me and redistribute my "wealth", I know there is no free lunch, that is what Obama offers, it is something we won't like and it will take years to recover. Just look at Cuba and other socialist countries. Americans are among the most generous in the world, under Obama charitable organizations will suffer & disappear. Obama wants government to do the giving & the taking ($5 Billion to African poor). I want to choose whom or what I give to. I can't afford OBAMA/BIDEN.
