ANOTHER MOVIE REVIEW: MAMA MIA
49"MAMA MIA"
This story is about a 20-year-old Sophie Sheridan (Amanda Seyfried) lives with her mother Donna (Meryl Streep) on the small Greek island Kalokairi where Donna runs a hotel called Villa Donna. Sophie is planning to marry her fiance Sky (Dominic Cooper)and wants her father to be there, but does not know who he is. After reading Donna's diary from 20 years ago, she concludes he is one of three men: Sam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan), Harry Bright (Colin Firth), or Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsgård). Without telling her mother and fiancé, Sophie mails invitations to three potential men.
But not all goes according to plan: old loves are re-kindled, new loves are formed, and Sophie risks everything to discover the true identity of her father.
Basically, Mamma Mia is a musical movie. If you're just a little bit crazy and want to have a good laugh, if you love ABBA, or if u wanna see Meryl Streep like you've never seen her before, or if you simply have crush on Pierce Brosnan...you will LOVE this movie.
I did laugh out loud every time Pierce Brosnan sang, but hey, he tried hard.
