While reading over this, I was interested till I saw that you have to have the residential phone service. I only use cell phones, and have no use for a phone service. But if I did, I would probably jump on this offer.

I feel there is no need for internet service to run about 40-50 bucks a month. The only reason they charge that much is because people are willing to pay for it. If you get satalite service it's even more, and that's really not realiable because of the lag in the service. With Satalite service you can't even use VOIP because the voice will come across as really choppy. So if you are considering VOIP make sure you don't have satalite internet.

But back to the AT&T, that is a good deal, it's faster than dialup and even cheaper for dialup. The website didn't say what the price will be after a year, but if you quailfy take this offer.
