A Lesson Learned

Do you want to make a living on the internet.? good for you I hope you manage to do so.

I on the other hand have decided as from today that I have had enough of it,

money has never been my motivation on the internet until I decided to run an experiment,to see if it was possible to make a living online using free sites that allow advertising or that pay you to write.

As of today the experiment is over, no more writing for high paying keywords.

I am going back to the way I used to write,things that interest me,back to the jokes,back to writing about the things That I love,

I dont enjoy chasing money it isn't me,if you want to make your living im afraid you will have to experiment for yourself.

I didnt make any real money anyway lol, and if you want the honest truth I made more money before the experiment started than after.

Advice:

If you want to make money on the Internet:

1) original content

2) Traffic (digg,reddit and dei.ic.ous drive visitors to your pages).

3) Choose your tag words wisely they reflect the ads you get from google.

4) Add a title if you put a picture or a video to your site.

5) A blank white page with text doesn't look good add some color,even if you are limited to blue and grey your page stands out,add pictures or video or both.

6) Dont plaster your page with Ebay AND Amazon ads position them wisely and dont let them spoil your story.

7) The hubpages Ideas bank is an Ideal place to find a money spinning story, these ideas are taken from web searches where not alot is written on the chosen subject if you write a good well researched piece on these subjects your page has a great chance of being number one on all of the search engines and that generates alot of traffic.

8) As I have discovered over the past few weeks write for yourself dont worry about the money if your story is good, the money will take care of it's self.

10)Hub pages is still in its infancy as it becomes better known and its reputation grows,more and more people will visit Hubpages,with that growth will come alot more readers and authors,instead of 100 visitors to your pages every day you could be looking more at 1000 or even 5000 visitors maybe even more,this will breath new life into your hubs and more and more advertising revenue will be earned.instead of a few cents in adsense ever day it will be a few dollars.

11)The final and most important piece of advice I can give is to have fun and enjoy your writing, dont think of the money, it will come when you start getting a regular readership.

I will still add the advertisments to my pages if they get clicked all well and good if not i will still enjoy my writing,.....jimmy
