Math is the trickiest of subjects. Not everyone can find themselves saying they love math and they understand every single mind-boggling concept of it most especially when they have been introduced to algebra and have graduated from the easy tasks of simple arithmetic.

The Abeka Math curriculum covers a variety of math subjects that incorporates that teaching of the Bible. Their philosophy in math sprung from their belief that as God is the master of all knowledge here on earth and beyond so He is also the Lord over all the subjects that relates to math.

They offer more of the traditional teachings of mathematics that have been passed on by the very first great thinkers, free from all the uncertainties and presumptions of modern theorists. They believe that by presenting mathematics as it is, is how God wanted us to know Him as the Absolute and as the Eternal Truth.

Abeka math curriculum train their students with the basic skills they would need all throughout their lives; their math textbooks has been tested and for success in the field of teaching the sacred art of mathematics and is being revised at each passing year to cater to the needs of the young minds wandering through the paths of arithmetic while journeying along with God.

From nursery to twelfth grade, a variety of math subjects is presented such as Arithmetic 1-6, Basic Math for the seventh graders, Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1-2, and Plane Geometry. In order to prepare them for what is to come on their future they also offer Business and Consumer Mathematics; others also include Analytical Geometry, and Trigonometry.

Abeka math curriculum also incorporated activities to give the students hands-on experience in solving problems and other fun exercises to enhance their ability and encourage their passions.

The basic arithmetic where everyone should start from includes addition, subtraction, division, multiplications and fractions. Practical applications involve story problems, the English and Metric systems, knowing how to read temperatures, and time and being able to count money.

Textbooks are designed with colors and perfect illustrations to help the students while going through their struggles in math and teach them the lifelong lessons they need to keep for the future ahead.
