Abortion or Genocide?

Easy Sex, Easy Life: Brainwashing
Is it abortion or is it genocide? Approximately 46 million abortions are performed each year. In most cases the abortion is the result of someone not caring to carry the baby to full term. In very few case, it may be the result of incest or rape. In a very small number of cases, the abortion may be due to protecting the life of the mother, according to Johnston Archive: "Actual percentage of U.S. abortions in "hard cases" are estimated as follows: in cases of rape or incest, 0.3%; in cases of risk to maternal health or life, 1%; and in cases of fetal abnormality, 0.5%. About 98% of abortions in the United States are elective, including socio-economic reasons or for birth control. This includes perhaps 30% for primarily economic reasons."
So, in an age when we have Plan A & B and all sorts of other methods of contraception, why are there so many abortions? And, at the same time, psychologists and psychiatrists have demonstrated that women inevitably suffer from depression and remorse following the abortion, as well as in increase incidence of breast cancer, according to News Busters.
And yet, an undercover study of Planned Parenthood clinics demonstrates that rapes are not reported and that alternatives are not discussed, but rather the only option discussed is abortion. It has also been shown that 85% of the abortion clinics tend to be located in Afro-American and Hispanic communities more frequently than in white communities, according to Black Genocide.org. Only 12% of the population is Black.
"The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a devout racist who created the Negro Project designed to sterilize unknowing black women and others she deemed as undesirables of society? The founder of Planned Parenthood said, "Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated." Afrochat
Some politicians and "feminists" claim that there can't be any back-tracking on the rights of women to abort, otherwise, they claim, Roe vs Wade will be reversed. However, this claim is totally over-exagerrated. When the Born Alive Infant Protection Act came up to protect the rights of babies born alive following a "botched abortion," most legislators voted for it. This was not the case of our President-elect, Mr. Obama, who has promised that one of his first acts will be to sign into effect the Freedom of Choice Act.
This allows children, as young as 12, to have an abortion without parental permission. Now, why care? After all, the foetus has an eternal soul and, if it is not born now, then it will take birth at a later time. Yes, that is true. But does the KKK believe that?
However, the consequences of using abortions so frequently is that it degrades the society that we live in. It degrades women into objects and also puts them in considerable risk for psychiatric and medical problems.
So, society becomes degraded and its most precious commodity, its children, become susceptible to the temptations of an seemingly inconsequential "easy" lifestyle. Society seeks to cultivate a secular humanism that teaches a relativistic morality; that the universe is random and that there is no real purpose to life. However, in reality the consquences are grave, because "loss of innocence" then leads to other and, possibly, even more dangerous moral lapses, like drugs and promiscuity.
Not ready for babies? Try abstinence. Already pregnant and don't want the baby? Find someone who wants to adopt your baby. You will feel better, believe me.

It saddens me when obviously intelligent people dilute themselves with rhetoric and beat common sense out of themselves with false morality. The whole Sanger argument is completely and totally one-sided. It's true, you can't really ignore her eugenics stance; on the other hand Planned Parenthood wasn't her brainchild int he first place, and on the second discrediting her does nothing to bolster your argument about race. Abortionn was not ever and is not now meant in any case to be a willy-nilly decision. Anyone who purports to have the education you do should know that.
Thank for answering my request (although the title isn't exactly how I envisioned). Anyway do you have some statistical facts as to the exact percentage or number:
"In most cases the abortion is the result of someone not caring to carry the baby to full term. In very few case, it may be the result of incest or rape. In a very small number of cases, the abortion may be due to protecting the life of the mother."
Hare Krishna.
Genius Junky,False morality? it saddens me when people like you find that a precious life has no meaning and throw a baby in the trash.
If you don't buy the argument about morality, then you will at least have to realize the consequences of the impact on women's health. and, if that doesn't bother you then, you're a lost soul.
countrywoman This report reviews available statistics regarding reasons given for obtaining abortions in the United States, including surveys by the Alan Guttmacher Institute and data from seven state health/statistics agencies that report relevant statistics (Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Utah). The official data imply that AGI claims regarding "hard case" abortions are inflated by roughly a factor of three. Actual percentage of U.S. abortions in "hard cases" are estimated as follows: in cases of rape or incest, 0.3%; in cases of risk to maternal health or life, 1%; and in cases of fetal abnormality, 0.5%. About 98% of abortions in the United States are elective, including socio-economic reasons or for birth control. This includes perhaps 30% for primarily economic reasons. (10/9/08)

unless u r raped or u should not abort your child...a baby is a gift from god and that gift should not be killed .they should be given a chance on this earth just like you.
I agree that contraception and abstinence is far better than abortion. The reality is that stupid people are far less likely to use these methods. If we have stupid people popping out kids left and right, this world will just get worse and worse. I bet you the crime rate would skyrocket if we could, somehow, eliminate abortions.
We can't eliminate abortions. People use their own methods if they can't get a doctor to do it. Through my experiences as a social worker, I know about young girls who get their boyfriends to punch them in the stomach until the fetus dies. Pretty sick. Unfortunately, that's the reality.
well, that may be true, but I don't think that Americans have to provide abortions for the rest of the world. Also the new policy will force doctors who don't agree with abortion to perform them. Also, there are people who are making a living off the abortion mill, when there are options for babies to be given up for adoption and so forth.
Leonardo da Vinci was an illegitimate child.
vra, often I agree with you but on this one I have say I disagree. While I understand the ramifications discussed above and the dangers of abortion (no I personally have never had one but I am one of those weird creatures who actually practiced abstinence until I was with the right guy), the fact remains that Mike unfortunately is correct.
I do not see how any Dr can be "forced" to perform an abortion, my understanding is that any Dr can refuse treatment as long as it is not emergency medical care that is needed at that specific moment to ensure the life of the mother.
Unfortunately the stupid people are already breeding faster than those who are using protection. Here in the US we are already going to run out of money (we won't discuss the trillions we are already in debt now for ease of argument here), there is not enough for welfare etc as it is, still many of these who are aborted now if they were born would be on the taxpayer's bill. Or more damage would come to the mother from trying to have it aborted in another means.
I can't say I agree with the practices of some ou call abortion mills, I can say that they are by far not the only raket in town. Yes, remorse and health complications arise for the mothers, but I honestly feel that forcing anyone to have a child they don't want leads to larger problems down the line.
I know many adults today whose parents, parents didn't believe in abortion which is why they are here today. They knew growing up that they were not "planed" and often not wanted which has lead to other hardships of its own (many in treatment constantly), and yes some of these were adopted so it was not that they were not loved or cared for.
Since we now have a 3.7 trillion dollar debt, it would actually make more sense to have a bigger population, so they can pay it off easier. (the more people, the more taxes). And, I'm afraid you're wrong about doctors and hospitals. According to the new law that Obama signed,(FOCA) it will be mandatory for doctors and hospitals to perform abortions.
Dude, if I could get pregnant, nobody could tell me what I'm allowed to do w/ my body. A woman's body belongs to her. Nobody else. Tell Christians & the US Government to stay out of their bodies. End of subject as far as I am concerned. Republicans can't go around saying they want less government & then try to make laws governing women's bodies.
well, you're right, but hte evidence is that these abortion mills "push" abortion as the only solution. That's how they make their money.
Boo-fucken-hoo. Since when have Republicans had an issue w/ anybody making money?
For me abortion is such a non-issue. If you are against it, then don't have one. You're not going to take care of all the unwanted babies born in this world. You don't take care of them now. I don't understand all the anti-choicers in this world because as long as they go around shooting abortion doctors in the back, you can't call them pro-lifers either. Their opinions are worthless to me & I don't even pretend to respect them.
vrajavala,
Thanks for being on the side of pro-life Christians.
I am completely against abortion unless the person has been raped, molested or mother and child are in danger. Just getting an abortion because someone did not use birth control is nonsense. I agree abstinence is what should happen what a great article. :)
