Acai berries are one of the most popular health supplements in the world.  They come in many forms including juices, capsules, and powders.  Acai berry juices are becoming very popular because they are available in many grocery stores as well as health food stores and numerous online websites.

The problem with acai berry juices is that there are big differences in the quality and price of different juices.  If you don't know any better, you can inferior drinks, pay more than you should, or both at the same time.

There are three types of juice we are going to talk about below:  pure acai berry juice, acai berry juice blends, and acai flavored juices.

The best type of juice is pure acai berry juice.  There are several companies that produce pure acai berry juices.  These offer the highest concentration of antioxidants, dietary fiber, and omega fatty acids.

My favorite pure acai berry juice is Amazon Thunder.  They have a pure acai berry puree that is organic and kosher.  It has a serving size of one ounce so one bottle will last you a full month.  The cost is around $1 a serving so it is one of the most affordable as well as the highest quality.

Acai berry juice blends are very popular, but you need to look at what you are getting before you buy.  Since these products are a mix of juices, you are not getting pure acai berry so the concentration of antixodants, omegas, and fiber is usually much lower than with a pure juice.

The cost of these supplements can also be very high.  While the bottle may cost less than Amazon Thunder, you usually only get 4 or 8 servings per bottle so you have to buy as many 8 bottles of juice blend to match one bottle of pure acai berry puree from Amazon Thunder.

If you have heard of the network marketing company selling a juice blend, you may know that this bottle of juice blend costs as much as Amazon Thunder and they recommend 4 ounces per day which means you only get 6 servings per bottle.  That means you will have to buy 5 bottles a month to match one bottle a month of Amazon Thunder.

These juice blends can be beneficial, but they will usually cost a lot more to get the same benefits of Amazon Thunder.

Before I go, I want to at least mention acai flavored juices because they are starting to become popular.  These drinks may be healthy, but they are basically fruit juices that have some amount of acai berry flavor, but no real benefits from acai.  They are mostly using the name to sell more juice.
