I thought this was a acne blimish hub?

Since you may ask yourself halfway through this article, "Why is this 'acne blemish treatment' article about Vitamins, I will address it now? Your body can be likened to a machine, if you put the proper nutrients into it, it will behave as it is supposed to, but if you neglect your body it will break down. In the body a break down can be something serious like cancer or something less like acne, which is the topic of this article. In the following paragraphs you will learn what Vitamins may aid you in treating acne and which foods contain the highest levels of each. Many people think that by taking a daily multivitamin they are covered, but unfortunately this is not the case. Do a Google search of Vitamin and port-a-potty and you will understand what I mean by this.

I like to take an assortment of vitamins, each for a different purpose. Some of my favorites include Vitamin A, B, C, E and I can't forget the minerals zinc and Chromium. I will explain how each will affect your acne if you choose to take it, why these are the best acne treatment and how best to work it into your diet.

Vitamin A

Everyone has heard the old wives tale that Vitamin A, which is always in those carrots that you didn’t want to eat, is good for  your eyesight, which may be true but it is also good to help your body maintain overall healthy skin. Although this is not an overnight acne blemish spot treatment it is a very powerful antioxidant, which simply means that it helps to prevent oxidation of certain molecules. This is important in skin health because oxidation create free-radicals, which can cause damage to skin cells. I know there may be a lot of this causes that but bare with me. Vitamin A, being the powerful antioxidant that it is, will neutralize free-radicals in your skin and it will also reduce overproduction of sebum glands, which are responsible for regulating the production of the body's natural oil. Vitamin A can be found in both fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, apricot, and spinach. I could go on all day about Vitamin A, but this is a short article so I will move onto B.

Vitamin B

Like Vitamin A, Vitamin B is no acne blemish laser treatment, but it is a natural way to prevent acne which will render expensive 'spot treatments' useless, or un-needed at the very least. When you talk about Vitamin B you are really talking about B complex, because it is not one but rather a series of Vitamins. Each has their own purpose but when taking together they can be very powerful acne blemish treatments. It works mainly by helping the body to maintain healthy skin function. You can find this in many meats such as tuna and liver and fruits such as bananas.

Vitamin C

Like Vitamin A, Vitamin B is no acne blemish laser treatment, but it is a natural way to prevent acne which will render expensive 'spot treatments' useless, or un-needed at the very least. When you talk about Vitamin B you are really talking about B complex, because it is not one but rather a series of Vitamins. Each has their own purpose but when taking together they can be very powerful acne blemish treatments. It works mainly by helping the body to maintain healthy skin function. You can find this in many meats such as tuna and liver and fruits such as bananas.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is another antioxidant, but it is different in that it protects skin cells from sun damage and ultra violet light. In addition to this it also promotes healthy healing of acne scars and blemishes. You can find this is nuts and seeds such as sunflower seeds, peanuts, and almonds.

Don't Forget the Minerals

Zinc has been used for hundreds if not thousands of years to effectively treat infection, and since acne is an infection it can be a very effective acne blemish treatment. This can be found in dairy products, beans and cereals.

Chromium is the last that will be covered, but the last but not least statement does apply. This can help in reducing swelling and inflammation that is commonly associated with acne. This can be found in onions, lettuce, and tomatoes.

In Conclusion

In conclusion, I would recommend that you assess your diet if you are suffering from acne. If you find that you may be suffering from a deficiency then you may want to consider altering your diet to cure your acne, rather than simply treating the symptom. I recommend that you speak with a professional if you need help setting up a healthy diet for yourself.
