Acne in the Winter

The seasons are changing. For people with acne, it means completely unpredictable acne breakouts.  Whether it snows or not, it’s starting to get freezing cold, especially at night – at least in the Midwest and on the East Coast.  Even in the areas with warmer climates, the air begins drying out considerably – one need only consider the Santa Ana’s to realize that.  Somewhere in the middle of the season – the end of September until mid October, on average – it is not illogical to say that your skin could be oily one day, and drying out rapidly the next.  You have to be very careful in your choice of acne treatments during the winter.  There is one essential weapon you need in order to wage war against cold weather on behalf of your skin: moisturizer.  However, a lot of acne treatments choose to pack their moisturizers with oils, believing that is the best way to battle dry skin.  That is way off the mark, however – that is basically just going to take you right back to where you started.  Fortunately, the Skin Perfecting Lotion, step three in the Acne Complex skin care line, is completely oil free.  Moreover, the two previously mentioned products soothe, moisturize, and calm your skin even as they cleanse it, meaning that your skin is never in danger of drying out, or being over moisturized.

You can clearly see why Murad Acne is perfect for dealing with your acne in the fall.  You can also clearly see why it is indeed one of the best acne treatments out there.  It is perfect for every type of skin and every type of acne.  Humid weather, hot weather, cold or dry weather: with its effective three step system, it can battle the symptoms of every single one.  It soothes irritation, moisturizes dry skin, and deep cleans clogged pores – what more could you want from a product line?
