Acne treatment for black skin: overview
61are acne treatments different for black skin?
As I have to say and most of you do already know, there is not difference. On every type of skin the acne is the same: blackheads, whiteheads, pimples and other nodules and cysts by the oily skin. The only thing about this treatments is that this things could lighten your skin for a temporary period of time.
Acne affects mostly teenagers (within all skin colors and types), but it also following adults into adulthood, so "don't worry about". It's rather difficult to treat acne on black skin, but it's do able. You don't have to worry much about it, but the first thing you may need to do is to visit a dermatologist in order to find out how can you get rid of all that acne from your face. If you have severe acne or other nasty stuff on your face (damaged skin), you really need to see a doctor in order to prescribe you something cool about it.
Acne is caused in teenagers by hormonal changed, imbalance and mostly the sebum from the oily glands. Basicaly there is so much oil and because of that the oil comes back within the skin (the skin is damaged) and formes blackheads, pimples and other stuff you know about. The thing is to use something that you think it's going to help you and not just stay there and do nothing, because nothing does not help you at all, and it won't help you at all. If you do nothing the acne is going to continue to create pimples all over your face, back, chest (there are cases), hands and so on, and you don't really want that to happen.
Let's talk about some ways to get rid of acne and how you can manage to do this for real:
- zinc oxide for acne is a good thing, that can be used to reduce the sebum from the oil gland, and because of that the pimples won't appear any more and the skin won't be damaged again and again. You may know already that touching your skin with your hands is not going to help you at all, and because of that you could have more problems with scarring and other stuff, not only acne and this things.
- there are different types of skin (dry, oily and basicaly normal) and you have to know that dry acne skin is susceptible on making some real problems with acne, unless you do some things about it. Proper skin care and seeing a dermatologist is the best thing to do in order to escape from this problem. If you don't want to have problems in the future, such as scars and other stuff, then you must see a dermatologist in order to be sure those things are really good for you, if you don't, then there is going to be more problems about it, problems you don't really want to.
- exfoliation, skin cleansing and dry sensitive skin care is very important for yourself, if you have dry skin, skin that can also be sensitive. It does not matter what type of color your skin has, it could be black, asian or white, the idea is that, for example, in dark skin the treatments and skin care could have temporary whitening effect.
- laser surfacing is not as good for black skin because the light could make your skin whiter, not just temporary, which is really a bad thing about it. The treatments are basicaly the same, the causes are the same, but you do not want to have white spots on your face, not at all.
