Acts of Faith
63
In my daily living, I go about the day with thoughts of everything that I need to do before the day's end. The one thing that I must do everyday is pray. Prayer is how I start my day and it is how I end my day. When I pray, I feel connected to God and I have enough faith that He hears my prayers is working them out for me. Because I am a faithful to praying, I feel so blessed and I share my blessings with others as well.

Everyday Blessings
Prayer works! I have too many personal experiences to believe anything different. One morning on my drive to work, I reached out to God in prayer. This was a particular rough time for me financial and so I prayed for a financial blessing. I also asked God to show up in a way that I would know it had to be Him. When I got home from work that same day, I was going through the evening routine when I finally got around to opening the mail. To my surprise there was an unexpected check in the mail. I opened it and to my surprise it was for $792.50, the exact amount that I needed to pay off an unexpected bill. Now that's God showing up and showing out. I thanked God for answering my prayer and for letting me know that He hears me and always will love me.
On another occassion, I was in between assignments. I was encouraged to apply for a particular assignment and was assured that I would be a shoe in for it. Well, two weeks passed and although my friend did everything in her power to secure the assignment for me, the funding was dissapproved and the position was closed to everyone. I was so dissappointed about the news because I was looking forward to working with this company. The experience alone would open so many doors later on and the people are all warm and friendly, just the kind of place that anyone would love to work.
Well, once again, I turned to God for His divine assistance in the matter to see what He had to say about the matter. I prayed a prayer of faith for God to intercede in the matter on my behalf and then I let it go. I was not concerned with it from that point on because I knew that if it was meant to be then it will be worked out for my benefit. Two days later I received a phone call from a woman from the same company. The woman asked for someone else's name so I informed her that she must have the wrong number and we hung up. Well, two days after that phone call, I received an email message from the same woman who called letting me know that she wanted to offer me another position with the company after learning about that the other position was dissaproved. I let her know that I had answered the phone call from her but because she had asked for another name I thought it was a wrong number. She explained to me that I was the intended party she was trying to reach after searching for my file with the purpose to recruit me directly.
Mom's Blessing Came Too!
My mother lives in a large condominium complex. The people there are friendly but they keep to themselves with rarely a visit to one another. She doesn't drive but she keeps the parking pass other family members to use when they visit her. One day, like any other day, one of her granddaughters was using the parking pass. She didn't want to go back into the house so she asked her cousin to take the parking pass back into the house for her. As he was entering the building, her cousin stopped to take a call on his cell phone, and rest the parking pass down on the call box. He forget the parking pass outside as he went into the house. Later on that day, when my mother asked for the parking pass, her granddaughter informed her that she gave it to her cousin to return. This is when they both realized the parking pass was gone and because they cost $100 for a replacement, they assumed that it was gone for good. But God! My mother said a prayer of faith and shortly afterwards she placed a small note on the bulletin board asking for help with finding her parking pass. That same day, she received an envelope that was slipped under her door with a note as well as the parking pass.
