61Alternative Medicine - Is Totally Worth It
Thinking about acupuncture? You're not alone. Over 30 billion dollars a year is spent on alternative medicine practices. This is an amazing industry and has fascinating goods and services to help you through many of lifes challenges. I know I am hooked.
I was most impressed with my recent visit to see Rhonda and Scott Sousley. They run a place called Innovative Medicine out of Troy Michigan. This web page explains many of their services including issues with back pain, infertility, and inflamation. But to really get a good handle on what acupuncture can do then you need to visit them and see for yourself. The feeling you get during treatment really is outstanding.
The Chi Energy
Chinese medicine is not widely accepted in the west by the medical system. This is due to the fact that many of the sensations associated with alternative medicine cannot be tracked or documented. Without measuring levels and a visual marker it becomes tough to verify the validity of these statements. Our medical system is run in a very regulated manner. So the best I can tell you is to make an appointment and check this out for yourself.
The Chi energy flows through something called the meridian points. These energy points allow the natural energy in the body to flow through it. During times of stress the energy can become stagnant and will stop flowing. This is when you need to get this taken care of by visiting an acupuncture expert.
Needles are inserted in these meridian energy points. It is painless for the most part. One thing you will notice in the west is that the needles are sterile and come in a plastic tube. One touch and they are connected in the skin and there is minimal pain associated to your treatment.
The energy starts to collect around the base of the needle. Now let me tell you something. You can actually feel a "buzz" around the needles and the overall affect is very calming. It is also a little alarming because this is a sensation that you will not feel anywhere else. There is a tingling feeling. Then you will begin to experience total peace. You may even fall asleep I know I did.
Where Do The Needles Go?
When I visited Rhonda Sousley I had needles in my ear lobes. The ear is a fascinating body part because it represents every organ in the body. You can access any body part including the feet, the stomach, the liver, heart, and the lungs etc. There are points on the hands too that correlate to the other parts on the body. It doesn't hurt but you can definately feel something happening once they go in. The sensation is eye opening.
I got my sinus problem solved just after one visit.....
Sounds incredible doesn't it? Now I got you thinking.....
