Make more money with Google Adsense

With small tricks you can reduce the visual pollution of advertising without sacrificing the entries

The AdSense and other contextual ad networks are a great system to earn money with the a blog and can pay you part of the time used to produce new content and maintain your own site.

However, it can be a annoying for readers as it is known that the most effective system is placing a large ad unit (336 × 280px) under the title of the post: polluting, really, the visual.

Lets do the Work

To make ads less intrusive to our usual readers, but without losing the shape or the position to guarantee the greatest efficiency, I think I found 3 tips that will make your blog much more digestible for our usual readers after having discovered something very important: more than 98% of clicks for each day in my blogs comes to posts with more than 1 month publication.

Show Adsense only in older articles
In my case, a high percentage of clicks are in articles older than 1 month, and not with less than this. The wave of visits generated by the new posts because of social networks and feeds do not generate many clicks because it is normal readers.

Make sure that AdSense appears only in articles older, 30 days

Doing so your usual readers will follow your articles with even passion and go by me you will not lose many clicks because usually they do not click on ads.

The extension AdSense DeLuxe for Wordpress offers this feature.

Don't Show Ads in Off-Topics
Do not show them in any way in the off topic posts or little relevance to the topic of your site
It is very annoying to read a post not too serious and full of ads. It seems spam.

Not to mention the fact that few clicks on those pages convert into shares if lowering thus the ROI of the entire account.

The solution is ... change those pages. Yes, I do not show them at all! Niente, nothing ... the click!

Paradoxically, we can not win more because we are lowering our CTR, very important in Google, it will measure in the future how much you will receive per click.

If you still can not publish a post without any contextual ad, place them under

Okay, you may not be so easy to completely cut the ads in the two cases listed above (new posts and off topic). If you can not even then limit themselves to remove the block that pollutes more (in general, that just below the title) and leave only the less evident in younger and in those posts off topic.

I've been testing this principle on my blogs and so far so good...
