Adam and Eve were not the first human beings that God Created
76There was a sixth day creation!
I read a couple of comments on this subject and decided to write my own hub. I think a lot of people including a lot of christians are confused. A lot of people are just repeating what they heard and still others are just making up answers to this question.
Was Adam and Eve the first human beings? Some people would like to believe that they slept with their own brothers and sister to populate the cities. It just goes to show you that people need to really read the bible for understanding. You can't just go to church on sunday and think the preacher will tell you everything you need to know. There are a lot of preachers that are just as lost as you.
Anyway, I have the answer to that question straight from the bible. God does not hind anything from us. You do have to have eyes to see and hears to hear his word. It is not hard just read for yourself. What I am glad about is that everyone is interested in finding the truth. do yourselves a favor and read it for yourself as I did. The best bible to get is King James version which is the most accurate version of the bible. Get a bible dictionary concordiance.
Let me start by saying that Adam and Eve were not the first human beings that God created.
If you read Genesis 1:26-28, 1:31 states that God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness he created the first man in his own image. This explains that God created MAN
Then in Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he made and behold it was very good. Meaning everything that he made at this time was very good he would not have been able to say it was good if he had not made man in his own image
Please note: in Genesis 1:28 that God gave man dominion over the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. These people were hunters and fisherman.
Also in Genesis 2:1:God states Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. It is clearly stated that the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. (People)
Now look at Genesis 2:5, 2:7-8, 2:15 KJV Now this is where God created Adam and the reason he created Adam. Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
Gensis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.As stated in Genesis
Gensis1:28, the sixth day creation of man were hunters and fisherman, this would most likely force many of them to be nomadic, to track game animals.
In Genesis 2:5 it is stated "there was not a man to till the ground." God had not created a man to be a farmer as of yet. At this time, in Genesis 2:7, God formed man (Adam) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Thus creating the first farmer.
Also read Genesis 3:19-20Since God had created animals in
Please research the bible and get understanding. Don't just listen to the preacher get understanding personally. Read it for yourselves.

Sorry, I disagree with your concept that God created additional Humans, if you know your Bible, it states that Cane was the Farmer, and Able took care of the animals at first, and then Cane went out of the Garden to the Land of Nod, where he Married and had offsprings, and formed a city. These early people, lived around 900 years each, and in that time could populate cities this way, no need for God to create anyone else. Rev 4:2,17-26
I agree that Adam and Eve were not the first people on Earth. Humans go back several thousand years before Adam and Eve could have been created. The scriptures never say that Adam and Eve were the first humans. I also don't believe that the flood killed all humans because there were people all over the world and the flood had to be local. It's all in the translation. I think that the people destroyed by the flood were the most direct line from Adam and Eve and lived in one region of the world.
This is an interesting concept. However, I almost completely disagree with you. God had to have created first humans, and whether or not they were named adam and eve is irrelevant (Adam means simply, "a man").
" It is clearly stated that the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. (People)" Them refers to the aforementioned heavens and earth... not people. You also can't read "farmer, fisherman, etc." into the fact that it said there was no tiller... You can't just impose your own interpretation on the Bible, that's why we have thousands of years of tradition to guide us...
if you look closer in genesis before you get to adam and eve god tells the first man and woman that they can eat from every tree. then it gets down to adam and eve god tells them they can eat from every tree but look it up and you will see
