Add Smiley Faces, Emoticons in Gmail

Yahoo! Mail, AOL and Hotmail all have smiley faces or emoticon features except Gmail service. Now there is a simpler way to add the smiley faces in your e-mail messages at Gmail.

The Yellow smiley faces or emoticons are quiet popular in the Chat and text messages, you can add this with other e-mail clients except Gmail. Labnol has found a way to add these emoticons. The video demonstrates the following method:

• Just resize the browser windows (the compose message window in Gmail) and open another browser window with this link.

• Drag and drop the image you like into the compose message window in Gmail.

The following method shows an alternate method:

• Open your Gmail account and compose a new e-mail message.

• Open another browser window or tabs (in Firefox) and click this link to open the different emoticons types available and click “view image” for the emoticon you like.

• Click Edit --> Select All --> Copy

• Click Edit --> Paste or Click your right button on the mouse and use the paste option.

With this method now you can have animated smiley faces or emoticons in your Gmail.
