How to Add a link to hubpages

The phones just rang for the fifth time in half hour. It's my dad, he wants to know how to add links to his Hubpages.

He created over 20 hubpages, yet he can't figure out how he can add a link to his Hubpages.

" Can you tell me one more time how to create a link in my hubpages. I just don't seem to get it."

One more time, I try to explain how simple it is to create links in your Hubpages.

I not sure if you, have ever tried explaining how to do something on the computer by phone. Mission Impossible.

All you have to do is click on edit, you'll find the link on the righthand side, in the Add More Stuff panel.

Select the URL from the website you want to link to and paste in the link fields, test and save.

As I tell my dad how to add a link to a Hubpages, I sense he's confused, "Where do I find the Add More Stuff panel?". It reminds me of Get Smart, when the Chief explains a complicated task to Max. Max always nods as if he comprends. When the chief probes, Max if he understands what's involved. it becomes obvious Max does not have a clue what's going on.

That's exactly the feeling I was getting. Its confirmed when my dad rings up 15 mintues later, asking if I could run him through it one more time.

Shaking my head and taking a deep breatth, I start my discourse again. It slowly dawns on me, he does not get it.

How can anyone create over 20 hubs with pictures and still not know how to add a link to Hubpages. Check Out Mr Maramalde hub to see what I mean.

It's a mystery to me.

I decide the only way to show my dad how to add a link to Hubpages is to make a video.

I just got the phone with my dad, he finally gets the concept of adding links to his hubpages. He said "he only had to watch the video twice to understand how to do it."
