Admin & Support Misgivings
54
It has been very disgusting to be an affiliate or member of websites that have customer support service. I really just have to post this one to relieve me my bad feelings. In the past year alone several websites that I am a member or an affiliate had done so many disgusting things.
- One is a very well known traffic site that has accused me of using automated surfing and just deleted my account. They were not able to give any proof and asked them what made them think of that. I was so consistent in time and number of surfs on this site that their system thought I was automated. Support service did not bother to go into this deeper.
- A social networking and paying site bungled on my account that I could not edit. Admin and support was not able to do anything and I just had to ask them to cancel my account. There was no way to cancel the account on your own.
- A blog advertising website had a customer support rep that emailed me saying that I am suspected of using illegal page ranking tactics for my blog. Also, they said they could not determine ownership of my blog site. They suspected that I just bought the blog site that had a previous Pagerank 2. After giving them the Whois information of Onesite, only then did they believe that this is legit site. A week ago they rejected a task I submitted saying I need to post an entry on my blog. Customer support did not even know that the task was just for a homepage link and not a blog entry. Instructions on the task were very clear and in bold letters! Simply inefficient support staff, I would say!
- A couple of weeks ago, a surf site where I upgraded was down and inaccessible. I emailed the owner directly and he responded that it took them some time to fix the kinks and the website is now up and running. When I tried to log in, the system says that my account has been deleted! Inspite of several emails to the owner and support staff they have not yet re-activated my account.
- Then today, I received an email from a website where I contribute articles regularly and do reviews. They said that they have deleted an article because I did not put it in the right category! For christsake, it was them who put it in that category! I even informed them that after observing it for a few days it seems that it is not in the correct category! I emailed the email exchanges we had and I don't know what they will do about it.
- An earlier post I made, by the way, should have been included here. This is the most disgusting as they have gone to the extent of deleting tickets containing my complaints. I have updated it lately because the B.B.B. says this is not one their concerns. Please click HERE to read that hub.
It's been my observation that if the support staff made an error on somthing like this, they do not inform management about it. They stop responding to your complaints until you get tired and just forget about it. Maybe I got tired and tried to forget about it. But this is one thing, I am writing about it now so people online would know.

Thanks for responding here tdrusk! I have linked to their sites on the article for the first two. The fourth one is boxofdollars.com. For the other 2, I am still awaiting for their action regarding my emails to them today. I will post it here if they fail to correct their own mistakes.

Thanks for the info. Could you post links to said sites so I know to stay clear. I wouldn't want to waste my time and writing.
What happens if hubpages dislikes one of our articles. Does it delete it into oblivion or will the owner still be able to see it?
