One of the Income streams we teach at the Income Academy is Adsense. Almost everyones first question is.. Isn't adsense dead? No it's not and it's about to make a comeback...

The following article may explain why and how you can build a good income with adsense

Like me you are probably getting tired of hearing how AdSense is dead. It's not dead and it never has been although it has not been as profitable as it used to be. I used to have hundreds of AdSense sites but I've slowly let them die to be replaced by a much smaller number of high quality sites with a daily target of over $10 each. This is partly because I realized that when I compared 1000 clicks to an adsense site with 1000 clicks to clickbank i was earning almost 20 times more from clickbank.

Why am I starting to build sites with Adsense once again?

Very recently Google have made changes to the clickable parts of the ads. Whereas before the complete ad was clickable now just the URL and the title are able to be clicked. If you have sites where you blend the ads into your content in the hope of accidental clicks you will have found a big drop in your income.

I believe that Google's long term plan has been to make the content network a much better place for advertisers to place their ads. These changes to the ads will ensure that there are fewer accidental clicks so advertisers will make more profits from the ads. Greater profits mean more adverts.

These changes should mean that the value of the clicks will increase as there will be more competition for adverts. Publishers who create higher quality sites will be rewarded by a lessened effect of smart pricing. These changes seem to be of benefit to both advertises and publishers.

If you have an Adwords account you can't fail to have noticed how many changes Google are making with regards to the the content network. All these changes have been aimed at attracting more advertisers which is excellent news for publishers.

By building sites with quality content targeted at a specific niche with good organic traffic and a good quantity of advertisers you will be in position to take advantage of increased Adsense revenues. Use only .com domain names and try to avoid hyphens where possible.

Take advantage of freely available tools like the google keyword tool and The Wordtracker Gtrend tool. Use domain registrars bulk registration tools to see what great names are still available By combining all 3 tools you will be able to find domain names with traffic right from the start.

I have not intention of telling you that it's going to be easy to make $10 a day from each site. It's not. But by adding unique content to your site and promoting it the right way you will soon start to see reward for your efforts. Try setting a target for the number of visitors or the daily income, i find this helps a lot.

Don't be tempted to place lots of ad blocks on your page. This will only have the effect of reducing your income. Google displays the highest paying ads first down to the lowest. so you may have a $2.50 ad and also 3 $0.05 showing. But by just having 1 ad block displayed in the right place you ensure that the highest paying ads are displayed.

One thing that most people fail to take into account about Adsense sites are their value when sold. A site earning $200 per month will be sold for between $1500 and $2000 depending on the amount of traffic. If the site is poorly monetized then the new owner may even pay more if the amount of traffic is high.

Don't believe the hype adsense is not dead and it's making a comeback
