France has lots of lakes and miles and miles of coastal water suitable for water skiing and other water sports especially in the areas in the South of France which are far warmer especially in the summer months.

This country also has some of a supreme terrain for mountain biking, which is probably why France has been able to develop some of the best mountain bikers in the World. You do need to consider what will be suitable; after all if you like cycling but have a heart condition, then mountain biking is not going to be the thing to do.

Whereas a novice who has never even been in a canoe or on horseback  before, would need some sort of tuition incorporated within their holiday before they attempt some of the more skillful activities on offer.

Please do confirm the equipment, if any, that you will need to take with you. This might include such items as hiking boots or your own life jacket. We had to get a life jacket for our daughter due to her age, as there were not any available in tiny sizes. The last thing you would like is to get to your destination and find that you cannot take part in the activities you were so looking forward to.
