He knows what he is talking about because he has experienced success on the internet with affiliate marketing first hand.
Now that you know a little about Russell, let me tell you about his new product, Affiliate Evolution.
The Affiliate Evolution Story
Russell Brunson got his idea for the affiliate evolution system from an old marketing CD. From the CD he got the idea for what he called the Commission Bump, which would allow an affiliate to "bump" up their affiliate commissions.
Russell decided to try out the commission bump idea in 2007 when he promoted a new product as an affiliate. The product he was promoting was selling for $500 and the affiliate commission he earned on each sale was $250 (50% commission). Russell sold over 200 copies of the $500 product for a total commission of over $50,000! Most normal affiliates would be jumping with joy to earn such a payout. Most would have been content with the results and would have just left it at that, but not Russell. Russell knew there was more money to be made.
Within just a few weeks, Russell multiplied his initial $250 commission per sale into $637.43 per sale. That's over $137 MORE than the actual product was selling for, or a 127% commission.
The basic strategy behind how Russell bumped up his affiliate commission is what is found inside his new affiliate evolution product.

Russell goes into detail on how he does it in the Affiliate Evolution Product, but I think the gist of it is to use each affiliate sale you make as a lead source, and upsell to other products on the backend.

Russell Brunson sure came up with a great idea. This could increase all of our commissions with the different companies we are affiliated with.
Making money is always an interesting prospect and those interested in earning money from affiliate sales then perhaps the Commission Bump is something take a closer look at with it's release coming in just over a week.

I met Russel Brunson personally back in 2006 at a seminar in Salt Lake City with him and Stu McLaren. It was the "affiliate inferno" it was a great seminar, actually one of the only ones I had been too that they actually taught. He is very on the ball with affiliate marketing. I would highly recommened anything he puts out.

Dont you think ppc programs are more effective than affiliate peograms.
I don't think you can fairly compare ppc and affiliate marketing. They are two differnt things. Many people have had success with both.
I used to belong to Russel's Public Domain Ebook site and he or his assistant always got back to me right away with answers to any questions. I think he's a little more down to earth and creative when it comes to internet marketing. Thanks for the heads up about the new strategy product.

Interesting take on increasing affiliate payouts. Most guides seem to focus on boosting actual sales, or talking to the affiliate manager for a small percentage increase in commission. How he gets more commission than the product sells for is really intriguing.
No doubt about it, having a targeted list and providing products and services that the people on the list desire is a very profitable way to earn an income online.
I wish I can become like Russell someday. Can't wait to buy his new product.

If it's true that he has increased his revenue by cross/up selling leads it'll be interesting to hear how he holds on to those leads and doesn't just pass them off to the landing pages of the companies he markets for.
