With so many web hosting providers I found it almost overwhelming trying to decide who to go with. I finally ended up going with GoDaddy. After all GoDaddy claims to be the #1 hosting provider, so how could I go wrong when the prices were just as good as anywhere else?

I was a bit overwhelmed to see all the products they have available. They have all you need to get started: domain names, web hosting plans, e-commerce sites, SSL certificates and much more.

At first I was intimidated to make the purchase, but I seen the promise that they would be there 24/7 should I need any technical support, so I did it. I purchased my very own domain name and web hosting account. I had the option to pay monthly or yearly and decided to go with the yearly plan because in the long run it was cheaper.

I soon found out that it’s nothing to loose sleep over. (Except I was too excited to sleep…I had to get my site up and running!) After I made the purchase I was sent an e-mail with several links to help me get started.

One of the links was an e-book explaining step by step on how to get started. This book walked me through everything I didn’t know how to do myself, like how to set up the e-mail account, upload files, and much, much more! They provided step by step instructions for both Windows and Linux.

They also provided me with a couple of sites to help me learn html, css, and other computer languages. Basically everything I needed to know was there right in front of me.

Next I discovered that they threw in $25.00 worth of Google Adword credits and $75.00 in Facebook credits to help generate traffic.

Also I discovered they offer many additional applications which you can install such as a shopping cart, blog, and message boards or forums, just to name a few.

I have not used all application yet or set everything up, but I’m working on it…slowly but surely.

I’m glad I went with them because they have proven themselves to be the #1 provider. They provided me with all the help which I needed to get started, and I’m looking forward to working with them for a long, long time!
