AFTER HAVING DONE ALL STAND!!!!

Eph 6:10-20

The scripture Eph 6:13 clearly tells us several things.

Eph 6:13

1. Put on the whole armor of God which God provides to us, our own full armor of God. Our own, But we must use our own whole armor of God.

Name

Belt of truth

Breastplate of righteousness

Feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace

Shield of Faith

Helmet of Salvation

And the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.

This armor is fully sufficient in any and all battles. Why Because God gave it to you. God designed it to be your only defense on earth.

1 Samuel 17:38-40

2. The day of evil will come, will come, not maybe, not could, will. I don't care how solid your foundation, your position in the church: I don't care how long you have served Christ, It will come, the fight against evil is coming or has come to all of us. Accept this fact and stand.

Tell the person next to you "its coming", now encourage them, "put on your armor and stand."

3. You must stand your ground well rooted in Christ, Look at the parable of Matthew 13, and the seed sower. Some on the way slide, some on land on stony ground, some among thorns, some on good ground. Tell someone: " you must remain on good ground in order to stand"

4. After you have done absolutely everything possible, continue to stand as a pillar, totally immoveable by any threat shouted by the adversary.

Gal 2:9 calls James, Cephas and John pillars,

Rev 3"12 states "him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God."

The most disgusting sound ever emitted from Christians is when they open their mouths and speak about the things Satan has been doing in their lives.

Look Satan is coming harder and harder, the more you accomplish. Does not John 10:10 state, Satan comes only to steal, kill and destroy. When we acknowledge Satan in our lives we are actually giving him credit for a victory!

We all do it but should we not use what Jesus advised in John 18:36, My Kingdom is out of this world. 1 John 5:5 who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of god!

How good Ground;

Well rooted in the word and obedient to the movings of the Holy Spirit.

Walking with Jesus is not like other life issues, do just enough to get by, Look at your victories? Few? What about your troubles? Few? No that's not perfect, that just means that Satan does not need to stalk, kill and destroy you, you are doing just fine yourself. But if you have victories a plenty and attacks regularly then Praise God you are on the right track. If you're fine, what about your spouse, kids, family and friends?

Why do Christians cry and complain when tribulation comes? Are we not in a constant war for this world, for the souls of each and every human? There are no anti-war protestors in this war, it is a spiritual war, Satan will not be restrained, because you refuse to fight.

There are only two results, you are resting in the loving arms of Jesus, under the blood, in which case there will be constant attacks on eternal death, you're Satan's neighbor for eternally.

You may have realized by now that this sermon is not warm and fuzzy. It is not happy nor is it providing sympathy, yet if you realize my position in Christ today than you know that excuses for not studying are not acceptable.

Failure to pray and commune with god classify you as weak in the Lord, and place limitations in your walk in Salvation. Refusal to thirst daily to be lead by the spirit will result in your spiritual death. Did you think your walk would be easy, outrageous? Compare it to Jesus. What would Jesus Do. Is any of this new? No!

King Solomon stated in Eccl 1:9-10 the tougher you pout and have the pity party the worse you become! That woe is me look, mentality just means the victory is on hold! Scripture leads, gives us a sense of support.

My Favorite today is Mark 10:27, for with god all things are possible! Tell your neighbor.

Let us look at some people in the Bible. What he did for them he will do for us if we stand in Faith.

Moses took the Jews out of Egypt and gave them the promised land after 430 years, God has a time for your seed, or for you, but it is Gods time not ours.

Pharaoh got mad and chased the Jews and what happened? Stuck at the red sea, we see Gods goodness! He opened up the sea so the Jews could walk over on dry land and then crushed the opposition with men it is impossible… with God all things are possible.

Lesson 1- God will always be there for us: even (and especially) when we are weak

Lesson 2 God will never hide his face from us as we serve him, even when we are wrong. There will be a price to pay for fighting against god's will, but his love and desire for us to prosper continues.

Lesson 3 Jonah

Jonah gets told to go to Assyrian city of Nineveh. Preach Repentance, Nineveh was a bad place, they burn prophets they skin them alive! Jonah has a way to get around this idea. He gets on a boat going to Tarshish, not Assyria. Went west instead of north. Humans, we sometimes think we know what is best for us!

Well the shipmates see that something is wrong, the men on boat cost lots to see who was the cause of their troubles.

We see this a lot, lev 16:7-10; Joshua 14:2; Isam 14:41-42; Nehemiah 10:34; Matthew 27:35; Acts 1:26

We no longer do this because we have access to God via prayer and H.S. But do we follow the answers?

Well Lot fell on Jonah (Jonah 1:7)

Jonah finally grows something, I hope it was faith. So he tells the truth but look even the men on the boat don't want to throw him off and kill him. But they finally do. Now God does not give up! His will, will be done!

He prepares a great fish to take Jonah where God wants him. Even in God's judgment of a believer for wrongdoings, our loving God provides mercy! And remember Jonah messed up. But he never gave up!

Not only is God merciful to the sinner who repents, but he is married to the backslider.

Heb 13:5

I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.

You might believe in him, but he believe in you! Never, Never, Never doubt God, nor think that he has taken his eye off of you!

Want proof, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us! (Romans 5:8)

So what can Jonah do! I am cast out of thy sight, yet I will look again towards thy holy Temple. Jonah 2:4

It is never the sin to fall, but it is a sin if you fail to get back up on your feet and look again upon God!

In doing so the great fish abruptly deposited Jonah on Dry Ground!

I wonder if Jonah would ever run from God again!

God will have his way whether we agree with him or not!

Lesson 4

God places his seal over those who live for him. Ex David

Daniel was captured (enslaved) in 605 BC. He was to learn the tongue of the Chaldean. Dan1:4 much like us today being required to learn the tongue of today's society. But we like Daniel can be as wise as Daniel if we use our Godly wisdom, our knowledge and respect of our living god, then we like Daniel can cut the unrighteous with our righteous of our living. Daniel was trapped by a law of man, not God, he knowingly broke mans law and kept God's. He flaunted his God! He respected God's authority not Kings or Laws!

Dan put in Lions Den

But look at kings here. He had faith, spoke and said unto Daniel, thy God whom thou servant continually, he will deliver they Dan 6:16 King fasted and verse

Stand!

Matt 10:28

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell!

It does not matter where you go, nor what you do, there is going to be trouble.

Will you choose the path directed by god through faith or you can run away in defeat, thus leaving upon the one pray the armor of God does not protect your back.

Remember to Stand!

Matt 10:33 whomsoever denies me before man, I will deny him before the father in heaven! Job 13:15 though he slay me, yet will I trust in him"

We here in America complain, why because we attend church on Sunday, best games on , rest, shopping, etc. etc.

Meanwhile Christians in other countries are killed for professing their faith and the desire to serve him openly! We need to change our mentality and stand firm in our Christian walk, and not take Christianity for granted. We need to wake up and soon before God wakes us up.

We serve a God who can answer all prayers, overcome any obstacle directed by Satan. God will strengthen us when we are weak or when we are failing, and give us total and complete victory if we place our entire faith and belief in Him through Jesus Christ.

Stop searching for excuses and stand on God's promises. He would never leave us nor forsake us, so why do we attempt so much in life on our own? Why is it that we fail to seek his wisdom and his direction in our life, in our decisions, in our desires!

God is a spirit, we therefore must worship Him in spirit and truth. Satan also is a spirit so our battles are spiritual.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestles not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of Darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Our spiritual battles are far greater and more complex than any fleshy battle, for we are fighting on unseen territory. The closer we walk with God the more power we possess. He has provided all the armor we need to fight any spiritual battle. Ephesians makes it clear that this is only won if we fight head on against Satan. If we cut and run then our back is left vulnerable and we are open to direct attacks. At the moment you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you were given all the armor the authority and the power to fight and win, yes, win, these battles. Because greater is he that is in you, the Holy

Spirit of God, then he that is in the world, Satan and evil.

Stand, don't bow down in defeat or fear. Stand, don't cry in your troubles whether you made the mess you are in or if you are being tested by God. James 4:7 states Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you! Stand, Stand, Stand.

If you have fallen away from God or just need a closer walk with Him, He is waiting to hear from you. The Bible said that He will not leave you nor forsake you, although at times we wander away from the path of his righteousness. If you want to draw closer to the Lord, or need to renew our salvation, please pray to Him, for He is waiting to bless you and lead you according to his perfect righteousness. Yes, renew and then stand with me my brothers and sisters.

Stand!
