50Tip for Preparing Garlic
Garlic is a great ingredient to use for preparing lot of recipes. It provides great flavor to foods. The drawback to cooking with garlic can be removing the outer layer that is around the clove of garlic. Here is a quick and easy tip for removing that outer layer from the garlic clove.
1. Brush off the peelings from the cluster / elephant ear clump of garlic cloves.
2. Once you locate the individual cloves break them off from the cluster of cloves.
3. Put the cloves onto a paper plate or microsave plate.
4. Put the garlic in the microwave for 10 - 15 seconds.
5. Let cool for about a minute or so because the cloves will be hot.
6. The cloves will easily slip out from the out from the inner layer of skin. Simply just pull off the outer layer of the garlic. After being microwaved this layer will easily pull apart with no stickiness and the clove of garlic will easily slip out.
