Aishwarya Rai Bachan was born on 1st November 1973 in Mangalore, Karnataka,India.she is an Indian actress and Miss World.

She started career as model and she gained fame after winning the 1994 Miss World title.

Aishwarya made her film debut in Mani Ratnam's Tamil film Iruvar in 1997 and Rai had her 1st commerical success in Tamil film Jeans in 1998.

Aishwarya Rai Bollywood debut film was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 and she won Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in the film.

Aishwarya Rai second biggest blockbuster film was Bhansali's Devdas opposite Shahrukh Khan and she won second Filmfare Best Actress Award,after this film Aishwarya Rai leading the Bollywood Film industry.

Aish and Abhishek Bachachan (He is a son of legendary Indian Actor Amitabh Bachchan) got married on April 20,2007 according to traditional Hindu rites of the South Indian Bunt community, to which she belongs.
