Asal Tamil movie was launched by Superstar Rajinikanth at the house of actor Sivaji Ganesan in Chennai on April 8th. The inauguration function was grand and many VIPs were invited. Ajith donned his new look for the movie as you can see from the Ajith's Asal photos displayed below. The Tamil film's shooting will start on May 4 in Chennai. Ultimate star Ajith looks forward to pair up with Sameera Reddy for the first time as his girl friend or love interest in the movie. The director of Asal Saran who has given many hit films before (example: Amarkalam, Attagasam starring Ajith). Asal is produced by Shivaji films while the music for the film has been scored by Bhardwaj is it or is it Yuvan Shankar? The plan is to release Ajith's Asal during Diwali 2009. Asal will be shot in in Tokyo and Turkey and many other international places. Saran and Ajith have given many hit movies before in Kollywood Tamil film industry.
Some say the storyline has Ajith performing in dual roles yet again like Attagasam (directed by Saran). This time he goes international like Billa instead of village near deep south Tuticorin. The hot and happening Sameera Reddy is playing the lead actress role in Ajith's Asal. Many say that there may be another heroine as well in the story. Like Namitha was in Billa in addition to the over exposing Nayatara. It sure sounds like Billa 2 ain't it?
