There are many hidden camera models that are available in the market, choosing one may be an overwhelming choice. With the advances in science and technology the cameras have been more stylized and innovative in design. Choosing one among the many styles  of surveillance cameras may be a difficult choice to make by many users. One of the top sellers in the spy technology market is the Alarm Radio DVR that has all the features you want in a camera.

Let me give you an unbiased review on the features, product description and design issues of this self contained spy camera. Have been using it personally for a year now, had researched and been using it as a nanny camera. The first look of this model is that it is a modern style gizmo, elegant design and totally discreet in operation.

The new Color Secure Shot Sony Clock/Weather Alert Radio all-in-one self recording DVR that renders all others obsolete. It can easily fit in any environment be it your home, office or warehouse.

Product Features

-Modern Sony AM/FM Clock Radio with Weather Band Alert
-550 LOR Sony Super Had CCD Camera
-Invisible Camera (no holes in radio)
-16 Gb SD Card Support
-Hidden Trap Door for SD Card
-Internal "Back Up" Battery for clock and DVR.

Inbuilt with a Sony digital AM/FM Synthesized Tuner Radio that provides the most accurate drift-free tuning of all available radio stations, with a built in weather band alert.

The magnetic trap door was another elusive feature that this has to offer, while buying I wasn’t keen on what it was but this is one hell of a feature. The old style units have SD cards located in battery compartment, resulting in no backup battery and anyone can open and easily see "tell tale" SD card slot. This "Trap Door" technology is virtually impossible to locate or open unless you know the secret and have the special magnetic key. It gives you better control over the entire covert operation.

Back Up Battery is much better than the other mundane models. Obsolete units use battery compartment for SD card slot, if radio is unplugged, or power is interrupted, the time must be manually reset. With the SecureShot, backup battery is internal and automatic. Unit may be moved from location to location without resetting time.

Motion activated real time video is recorded on a tiny SD card, housed in a hidden compartment. All recording are time/date stamped for professional security applications. Every system includes (2) 1Gb SD cards.

This clock radio rises above the rest with its sleek exterior and vast array of special functions. This Dual Alarm permitting two separate wake-up time settings, the Snoozinator Extendable Snooze, and a Nap Timer.

Final Results

The video capture from these spy cameras are impressive, it can efficiently transmit clear images within a 15 feet radius. For even distant objects you could get the approximate height, weight, hair color and a vague picture of the person in range.

We all have hectic lifestyles and want to live a stress free life when it comes to dealing with the personal belongings and property. Now with such a discrete DVR camera that is disguised perfectly has an operating radio alarm clock you can put al your whims at bay. Prevention is always better than cure and this device is a sure bet against all potential odds and dangers.

That sounds like a good surveillance system to keep an eye on your room when you have company, babysitters, etc. over. Could be kind of creepy in what people could be recording without your knowledge though (thinking hotel rooms, guest rooms in a house, sleepovers, etc.)
