Alessandra Schiavone De Rossiis a Filipino/Italian actress in the Philippines. Alessandra Schiavone De Rossi, better known by her stage name Alessandra De Rossi (born on July 19, 1984 in England, United Kingdom), is an award-winning Italian Filipino actress. She is the younger sister of actress Assunta De Rossi.

At the age of 16, Alessandra took home the coveted acting award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Azucena at the FAMAS Awards.

Alessandra refused to accept the offer of GMA-7 to be part of the upcoming primetime soap La Lola starring JC de Vera and Rhian Ramos, so that there will never be a new riot between her and Rhian, Alex’s handler confirmed DMV Entertainment that the award-winning young actress accepted the offer of ABS-CBN to be part of I Love Betty La Fea, an upcoming primetime series starring Bea Alonzo.

“I am excited in what i will be doing in ABS-CBN. I’ll be doing a special role in Betty La Fea, then after that, I will have a soap where i will be one of the lead. My spirit is very high right now and I know I’m on the right track,” said Alex.

ABS-CBN will start airing its newest TV series, I Love Betty La Fea. Alessandra de Rossi is on guest starring role. She will play as the ex-sweetheart of Armando played by John Lloyd Cruz. After that, Alessandra de Rossi will start her own soap opera on Kapamilya network.

She is currently taping a second book of the Chick-lit series in TV5 na No Boyfriend Since Birth co-starring with Jomari Yllana and Joross Gamboa under the direction of Manny Palo.

Controversies

· During the Nivea celebrity challenge event, Alessandra de Rossi denied the issue of slapping her ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Marquez, and throwing the finger gesture to the latter.

· Alessandra is known for sweet-yet-fearless attitude and has had previous alleged fights among other actresses such as Jennylyn Mercado (Jennylyn allegedly flirted with her then-boyfriend Jeremy Marquez), Toni Gonzaga (Toni allegedly gave advises to Jeremy Marquez about their then-rocky relationship), Rhian Ramos (Rhian allegedly called her unprofessional), and Roxanne Barcelo (for allegedly blaming Alessandra for her breakup with actor Luis Alandy)

· She is declared by Celia Rodriguez in a GMA event as the actress who will be the "next Celia Rodriguez" in the Philippine showbiz industry

· She has long been offered by ABS-CBN but she turned down these offers (including Hiram na Mukha antagonist role) due to loyalty to GMA-7.
