Alessia Marcuzzi loves her job of modeling, not just because she is a gorgeous Italian girl with plenty to show off in front of the camera, but also because she loves to travel.

Indeed it is her love of travel, in particular to places like Austrailia, and the Fijii Islands, as well as parts of Europe that are less well-known, that keeps her modeling--after all, someone has to pay the hotel bills and plane tickets.

She says she has many stories about her travels that she hopes to write down one day and publish. For example, Alessia recalls the day she was on a flight to Australia, it was Perth Australia to be exact, when she met a man who told her about his ranch in Perth and about some Aborigines who he hires to entertain him on weekends with their dancing and tribal songs. Soon after meeting him, says Alessia Marcuzzi, she was at his ranch and making friends with the Aborigines herself, who, she says "were very funny and enjoyed my Italian accent so much that they tried to imitate me!...what a lark we had!"

On another occassion, Alessia was travelling to Hawaii to do some modeling for a lengurie advertisment.

"We were out in a sort of pineapple field, where they grow the pineapples and when I had a break I decided to try a pineapple for a snack..but I didn't have anything to open one...so I asked my camera man if he had a knife and he produced a sort of tiny knife he used for cutting wires and things....and we sat there trying for a long time to open the pineapple without cutting ourselves on the prickles...well in the end I got my fruity snack but my fingers were all bloody from the prickles so I had to keep them out of the photo shoot for the rest of the day!"

 

That is just one of Marcuzzi's many stories about her travel adventures, which I look forward to reading someday myself. Hope she doesn't take too long to write them all down!
