Dr. Summers, a co-creator of Stemulite, explains the process in an interview below:
Kc Quintana: Can stemulite help recruit your stem cells to repair your skin as you get older?
Dr Summers: Absolutely. That is why the anti-aging effects of Stemulite are so great. You can get rid of your wrinkles, your skin looks better after a few weeks, wrinkles start to diminish, and your skin gets thicker. You gain a lot of youthful characteristics with new stem cells. Stem cells are the little fountain of youth, if you want to call them that. If you could keep new stem cells coming all the time, they can keep going on forever.
Kc Quintana: Stemulite, again, wakes up the stem cells, and leads them to the area where they need to be repaired?
Dr Summers: Yes that is true. When you are born, you have an infinite number of stem cells that are part of the bone marrow, and they stay in hibernation all your life, until you need them. They weren't even known until about 15 years ago. Now we understand how stem cells work. Stem cells are asleep until they are awakened by trauma, disease, or injury. When they wake up they are directed by the body to go repair some injury in the body, or to replace something that is lost, such as damaged cells, or replace tissue. They are directed by an agonist that triggers a cascade of chemicals, which travels thru the blood stream, and to the bone marrow. This action directs the stem cells to wake up and go to work where there is damage in the body.
In your case, because you are an exercise buff, the stem cells would migrate to the group of your muscles, where the injuries are in your muscles from working out. The little injuries are where the stem cells go to mature into brand new muscle cells. It takes about three weeks for it to mature. The same is true for any other process for cells.
Wether you are trying to recover from a disease with a diminished supply of white blood cells, or adisease that would need to create new hair cells, and skin cells. Pretty marvelous little creatures.
