Top 10 Reasons to Love Star Wars Legos

10. Star Wars is awesome - That's right. And you know it is true. Don't fight it. Every since Star Wars came out in the 80's, it has been an instant sensation. Today is no different. People all around the world love this phenomenon, you and I are no different. It's awesome. What else is there to say about George Lucas and his creation.

9. George Lucas is awesome - Again, this is not thing but the truth. His creativity has been unmatched for decades now and I don't see any hope in sight for someone coming along and dethroning him as the champion. The story lines are great and they really make you think about the power of the force.

8. Good, safe fun - Your children just want to be thoroughly entertained. And what better way to make that happen than to give them the gift that keeps on giving. Star Wars Lego toys never get old and they story lines that they can imagine can only get better as their mind develops. It is good, safe fun for them.

7. Improves imagination skills - An active imagination is not a trait that is often praised in our society, but today I am going to do just this. It is said that children with active imaginations have a better chance of being happier in life as they are able to develop their full creativity and interest skills to continue their development in whatever discipline they choose to follow. So the next time your child comes to you with an elaborate story line about their star wars action figures, listen to them and let them get it all the way out. You never know, this may be the next George Lucas standing in front of you. Besides, it only helps their self-esteem to share with you and honestly believe that you are there to for them.

6. None stop action - The fact that you are in total control over every aspect of the Star Wars legos and the engagements, make them great for children. Because children love to be in control and take every opportunity to do so. With the star wars lego toys, they are in total control and the fight, battle, and adventures can be as short or long as they desire. They can go all over the house or even outside with it. Children think it is great and it really is great to see the light in their eyes.

5. Collectible - Let's face it, with as many Star Wars fans in the world, there are definitely opportunities for these items to be worth more and more money. People collect everything and Star Wars Legos are no exception to this rule. You just have to be ready to stack up all the figures and be sure to keep them in the packages because if you open them, then the worth decreases. I use to collect baseball cards and it was very hard to keep them in the wrapper, but many of them are worth thousands of dollars today.

4. Star Wars Legos Video game - This was an awesome addition to the Star Wars Legos dynasty. Think about how big and important video games are to this society. Growing up in the 80's, I can tell you that video games are only going to get bigger. We were the first generation that grew up on video games and they are great, but these kids today have the type of systems that makes my generation of gamers jealous. It is going to be awesome for your child to have their Star Wars lego adventures come to life in the video game console of their choice.

3. Quite Time - I know you might be thinking, where is am going with this? But here me out. If you get your child into the Star Wars Legos, then think of the hours of interest and engagement they will be involved in. The will be in their room, outside, or the basement playing their hearts out with this intricate operation leaving you hours upon hours of time to yourself.....well, at least until they are finished and start asking for something else. Be sure to enjoy it when you can.

2. Happiness - Your children love it, so why not make them happy. Sometimes as parents we have to understand that it isn't always about us. If you don't understand why your child is so involved and into Star Wars Legos, then just remember that you don't have to play with them. It is about their happiness.

Now, I am not advocating just making children happy by all means. No, they need structure and direction, but if you want to get them something, then why not get them something that they are going to really enjoy and it will really make them happy.

1. It's Star Wars - I mean, come on good people. Is it really this hard to believe? It's Star Wars and the majority of people that have ever encounter Star Wars anything have fallen in love with it. And your children or you as a collector are no different. Don't fight it, just let the force be with you and go for it.

You didn't think I could do a Hub on Star Wars and not mention the force, did you?
