One Friend Too Many In The Aquarium

fish from a pet store, and proudly to say my sister Laura sent these pictures to a site.
does not belong to me.
I have had many fish over the years. Some I've gotten from carnivals, and some from the pet store. When I was little my mom would bring me to the pet store to buy fish food, but I would always wonder to the fishies. I'd stare at them and watch their faces trying to duplicate it. And put my finger to the glass and drag it along the otherside of the tank. Usually ten fish would follow along and go back. Then when we came out of the store I would have a friend or two in a little bag. Holding it carefully and trying not to shake it quickly get home. As we went over bumps little waves would start to form up and down they would go. So then my 1st fish had company of two and had a ball of fun to. Over the years it somehow got to have seven and then twelve and then sixteen and finally twenty! We got a big aquarium where there was plenty of room for all. The fish were happy swimming against the stones, and plants and underwater tunnels. Some of my brothers and sisters helped make the tunnels by piling some stones then a big one at the top. Funny how it never collapsed on the tiny fish that would hide from the big fish when coming their way. Some fish were as small a half dollar coin, and some as big as a pinky and some as big as a brand new pencil. Some were gold with spots and some just plain white or just plain maroon. Some with black spots and some with glittery scales. Beautiful they were, the ones with long ellagant tails. Slowly though, some started their way upto the clouds where all fish have fun swimming. Soon it was back to sixteen then back to ten, then again back to five. Then soon back to one. And who do you think I saw,but the very first one.
And now slowly building up his kingdom, again.
The first and last fish. Watching the cruel world take all his friends and his lady love,Fantail was tough for him. He isn't doing to good right now. =/

Thank you, I wish I could have them all back.
Aw...sadly all too common of a story, especially where goldies or other "aquarium giants" are involved because there's just so much misunderstanding out there about their requirements. Live and learn, right? :)
you are very sweet...G-Ma :o) hugs
