Before seeking prolapsed hemroid treatment, there are a few things you should know. Hemorrhoids are actually a normal part of the human anatomy.

Many people think that a person who has hemorrhoids has something wrong with them, and that isn’t true.

We all have hemorrhoids inside us to help cushion the anal canal when we defecate. When people complain about their “hemorrhoids” they are actually complaining that something is wrong with their hemorrhoid system.

If you need prolapsed hemroid treatment, it means that a hemorrhoid has protruded out of your anus where it isn’t supposed to be.

Prolapsed hemorrhoids may be completely painless, hurt only a little, or hurt a great deal. They will appear as a red bulk sticking outside your anal opening. If it gets a blood clot in it, it will probably hurt a great deal.

There are three different degrees of prolapsed hemorrhoids. The least severe type will only protrude during a bowel movement and then spontaneously retract back inside.

The second will not retract on its own, but can be manually reinserted. The third type and most severe type is one that become strangulated or forms a blood clot and will not stay inside even when it is manually reinserted.

Typically only the last two types need any sort of prolapsed hemorrhoids home cure.

The symptoms of this type of hemorrhoids include mild itching or burning, a small amount of bleeding, and in the worst type, a very large bulge of tissue that may be difficult to keep clean.

These symptoms may seem very disgusting and scary and can be very uncomfortable, but pain is usually not associated until the prolapsed hemorrhoid becomes strangulated or forms a blood clot.

If the hemorrhoid does become painful (all the time or even just when having a bowel movement) then it could be serious and you should see a physician.

If it isn’t extremely painful but itches, burns, bleeds lightly, or leaves dirty marks in your underwear, you can easily treat it from home with no worries.

It can be difficult to tell an external hemorrhoid from an internal prolapsed hemorrhoid, but in their minor forms they should be treated the same.

Usually prolapsed hemroid treatment is very simple. There are all natural creams available over the counter usually made from plants that helps to reduce the swelling and therefore reduce the level of discomfort.

Medicated pads can also be used to wipe on the hemorrhoid to reduce the itching and burning. Witch hazel pads are cheap and work great. If they make if very difficult to sit, you can buy a small inflatable donut to sit on that should help greatly.

Aside from treating the actual hemorrhoid area, you should be sure you adjust to a very healthy diet if you have this problem. Feces that are hard or of a poor consistency will only make the hemorrhoid worse and more uncomfortable.

Don’t be ashamed to seek prolapsed hemroid treatment. It happens to a lot of people!

I was also frustrated with the cheap witch-hazel pads because although they only reduce swelling, they do nothing for the pain, the itch and to support healing. So, just FYI, I found a product that does it all and it is really great. A good find... and worth a try. I'm not usually one to be talking about products for "down-under", but these are really good. I got them from a company called Nature's Rite and they say "Hemorrhoid Relief" on the label.
