No, I will not send you to another website to buy something! This is the cure, you would never believe it until you try it. When you do, you will kick yourself in the butt for having used up every thing possible but the one sure fire way to get rid of acne.

Plus I am getting bloody irritated with all those hubs out there that send you to this site and that site and the products don't work.  You will get the answer here, now, today.

First, let me tell why it works and why the other stuff and benzoyl peroxide doesn't work, is a waste of your money, ruins your clothes and often times causes things like miscarriages or birth abnormalities. But the answer I have for you today is good for you, it is good for you heart, it is good for your overall health and it cost less then a quarter but most off all it really works.

Don't use these products

they may work temperarily but it is not the cure.
they may work temperarily but it is not the cure.

It works because...

It is a natural antiseptic and it is packed full of all the stuff your body needs. That's it, that's all, no fancy scientific stuff, no money, no gamble it just works.

No one knows why people get acne and you certainly do not get it from masturbation ok! It really is true, no one knows why we get acne. For teenagers, we might have thought it was hormones, they have something to do with it but... it's not really why because women in their 30's who have gone their whole lives with perfect skin suddenly and without reason wake up with acne. And if you want to find out for yourself if I am lying, go do your own research but chances are that you probably already have if you are here.

Those over the counter or prescription medications do more damage then good to your skin. First, they are harsh chemicals that either chemically burn your skin or cause more irritation or dry your skin out to an extremely ridiculous point.

Some of them interfere with pregnancy causing low birth weights, premature birth, birth abnormalities and God forbid, miscarriages.  Those products just aren't worth the risk.

They cost too much and often they just don't work. Anyways, now that I have kept you hear long enough looking for the answer I will tell you.

Garlic

Yip, crush up a piece of garlic and rub it all over your face.

So tonight before you go to bed, wash your face with a mild cleanser to get all your make up off or lotion or whatever you have on your face and apply garlic.

It will sting, no doubt I do it soo...it does sting. But the sting stops after a little while and you will start to feel your skin tighten up. You want the sting, it tells you it is working.

No, you don't need to have chuncks of garlic stuck to your face just the garlic juice (I guess that is what you would call it). Anyways, it smell but it doesn't bother me because I love, love, love the smell of garlic but it might bother your partner or possibly yourself.

If you do have trouble with acne, try the garlic. Oh, and don't forget to wash it off in the morning though I am sure you will remember. And please come back to let me know if it worked for you.

If you would like to learn more about traditional and natural medicines that work, I would suggest a hub Sufi wrote about Traditional Greek Folk Medicine.

it's a relief to know that you have a reflection after all ! :P j/k

yes many chemical can harm you, but it's the first time i hear about this kind of therapy (like toetation? :D)...but there still are a few creams and drugs that work in fact..medicine isn't that useless

Hormones can contribute to acne....and psychological stress can, too.. wash your face frequently to ensure your skin is free from bacteria that cause acne

sandra rinck profile image

Hey Mezo,

I appreciate your comment but it is a little known fact that frequent face washing is irritating to the skin, one only needs to wash their face once or twice a day so not to strip your face of its own natural oils which may also contribute to acne.

Yes, those chemicals do work but acne always comes back and they are just harmful and many times for many, many people uneffective, expensive and a total let down.

Often when those medications stop working people resort to medical peels or laser surgery or other methods that are painful and expensive which may work too but if you can get rid of it naturally, with virtually no money, no chance of negitive reactions unless you get it in your eyes or something and redness due to the garlic actually working which goes away after a few seconds...

then isn't it worth it to just use the smelly garlic and save your money and your skin?

Toetation kicks butt, I think most wont give it any thought but a good laugh, but I am serious it does work. :) If even only to get your mind off of other things that you just don't want to think about. :)

I know Sufi, actually you were part of my inspiration to write this hub after reading your article, which I should link, if you don't mind, plus I keep seeing hubs about acne treatments and they always link to different sites and well we know how this goes. So, I think I am going to edit and hook up a like to your hub. Thanks Sufi!

Thanks, Sandra - Have done the same.

Now I am going to look and see if the domain name garlicforacne.com is available - we can split the profits 50:50! ;)

Only joking - I hate seeing people with little money paying a fortune for therapies that do not work. Great to see that you share the same sentiment. :)

It would probably be a good idea to add garlic to the diet as well. I had a friend who had terrible acne and boils all the time he lived at home and was in the Army. When he got out of the Army, he switched to a completely vegan diet, and his acned and boils cleared up within about 3 weeks. He has never had a problem since!

sandra rinck profile image

Actually Misha, I don't think you are so far off. It is better to just wash your face with hot/warm water and pat it dry then use heavey cleansers. I use all natural soap to get make up off or dirt from servicing a car, which is very mild, and a little trick of the trade...

Usinging hot (not scolding hot) water to rinse your face and then use cold water to close up the pores. ;)

Yip, Justmesusan, adding garlic to your diet isn't a bad idea at all. Garlic is like the all for cure to everything. I eat a lot of garlic everyday, it's good for the heart, good for your digestive track, good antioxidant and awesome for the skin. Great comment, thank you. :)

No car to service! If I have been mixing cement or playing with motorbikes, I might use a tiny bit of olive oil soap. The vast majority of the time, I use no soap, and my skin has never looked better. Most people wash the natural oils off their face with detergent, and then replace them with artificial ones.

I do use soap on the rest of the body, though!

Have you tried fresh lemon juice? Try it for a week. Neat lemon ...no add ons.

sandra rinck profile image

sandra rinck  says:

Sufi, I am so glad to hear you use soap on the rest of your body! lol.

Anjalichugh- yes I have tried lemon juice, and tomatos and avacodos! Lemon juice dried out my skin, tomatos didn't do a thing but sting and avacodos made my skin pretty soft but too oily.

Now I had to try these to see if they worked and then I went back to the old method my mom told me which was garlic and she is right. I also use to use garlic on my face when I was a kid because I would get white spots from the sun and garlic took care of that too.

Woohoo for Garlic!!!!

I almost forgot, I also tested egg whites, egg yolks, hydrogen peroxide, isopropyle alcohol...Noxema, clearisil, benzoyl peroxide, acutane (I think that is what it is called) Nuetrogena clean cream cleanser (that was the worste besides Noxema) Cetiphyl and the pop it method. Oh and I almost forgot about toothpaste.

Why...since I had the opportunity to test them for myself, I did and garlic won! In two days my entire face cleared up.  I might get a pimple every now and again, and I zap with garlic and it is gone by morning.  ;)

Hey Sandra,

I'll try the garlic tonight, as it's 5:33am here at the moment and I just found this site. I've got a few pimples, but my main problem is redness from pimples around the nose and "T-zone" (forehead) and small pimples along my nose and all across my forehead. I keep seeing the proactiv add and thinking I should try it, but now I think i'll try garlic 1st :)

Will let you know how it goes xox

Definitely Shona, just don't be surprised if your face turns red at first it will go away. :D And please let me know how it works for you.
