Beat Pneumonia Naturally

Pneumonia is a serious health condition which generally starts from a cold either in the throat or the head. There can be symptoms of a fever, chills, difficulty with breathing and even pains in the chest. Pneumonia can seemingly attack quite quickly and can become very aggressive. It is caused by different types of germs including streptococcus or it can also be caused by fungal infections or even irritation by worms.

Too many toxins can weaken the body quickly and easily and have an even more adverse affect in the lungs and connecting air passages. Sadly in this day and age, our current lifestyles of eating badly and living under a great deal of stress can weaken our systems and impact our immunity. Taking medical advice is important however and fortunately, there are many natural home remedies which can greatly improve the immunity and help to combat the actual virus. The following are easy remedies to incorporate:

Fenugreek seeds

Fenugreek seeds can be made into a tea as this will greatly promote the body's ability to increase perspiration and this will then help to secrete toxins. Add just a couple of drops of lemon juice to the tea to improve the taste.

Garlic

Garlic can be extremely beneficial in the fight against pneumonia. It will help to bring down the temperature and ease respiration very quickly. If the pungent aroma can be accepted, try rubbing garlic paste directly onto the chest.

Sesame Seeds

Take 15 gm of sesame seeds in 250 ml of water. This infusion of sesame seeds should be mixed with linseed, salt and honey. This helps to reduce phlegm from the bronchial tubes.

Meditation

Meditation can help to increase the power of positive thinking and promote inner healing. The techniques are quick and easy to learn even if never tried before. Removing stress and creating feelings of inner peace, will help boost healing naturally.

Fluids

Drink plenty of water to keep the body hydrated.

Aromatherapy essential oil

To help ease with breathing, mix some favourite essential oils and use in an oil burner or as a rub for the chest, take time to use those which can help with breathing problems and check for any contra-indications.
