Organic Aloe Vera and my diet!

The other day we talked about putting together a plan of action for our 'lifestyle changes". We said we had to choose a diet plan that would work for us. Not for someone else, for us.

In step one;we talked about eliminating the fast food, the processed food, the prepackaged food and the food with high amounts of additives, preservatives and chemicals …all of which are toxic to the human body.

Do you eat too much red meat?

Our personal diet plan should also try to eliminate large amounts of red meat, dairy products and limit the number of eggs we eat while increasing the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables. When eating your fresh fruits and vegetables, it's now a proven fact fresh is the way to go...fresh, preferably raw fruits and vegetables. At least 60% to 70% of your new diet plan should contain these vital photochemical rich foods.

Is this always on your table?
Is this always on your table?

Now in step two; …lets battle the biggest outlaw we're going to have to battle with your new diet plan. Sugar!!

Do you know that white refined sugar is not good for you?

The sugar under discussion here is what we call white sugar, refined sugar or the good old granulated sucrose popularly known as table sugar. In any form, sugar is the outlaw, or could we say, the villain.

  • · It has nothing but useless calories.
  • · It prompts tooth decay.
  • · It prompts digestive problems, obesity and diabetes.
  • · It prompts hypoglycemia and many other ailments including atherosclerosis and heart disease.

And the list goes on...we could name 100's of health conditions caused by the intake of sugar.

Studies have proven time and time again that countries where the rise of sugar has increased there has also been a proportionate rise of diabetes. With the new reports indicating that cancer and heart disease also accompany the introduction of sugar into these various world societies.

Are advertisers fooling you?

Don't be fooled by the mass media with its Hollywood advertising schemes, funded by the huge multi-national corporations who produce this sweet, sweet, additive that we all crave!! Don't turn your back on it, because without a doubt, sugar is the villain to many of your chronic ailments.

And by all means …don’t forget your organic aloe juice. Add it to your diet for a boost to your immune system and a plus to your heart healthy diet. Drink it daily for maximum results.

Thanks for sharing your interest in aloe vera, gjcody! It was especially helpful to know the necessary percentage of photochemical rich foods that we should be eating. Sometimes it's difficult to balance everything with a busy lifestyle but knowing all the facts certainly does help. Now, as for the white refined sugar, I wasn't aware that it prompts digestive problems. That's awfully frightening when you think of how much sugar you ingest throughout the day. We add it to our coffee, some people sprinkle it on top of fruit, and it's hidden in countless food products that we buy in the supermarket. After reading your article, I think that I'm going to make an extra effort to cut back on the sugar in my diet and add organic aloe juice to it.

Thanks for the helpful information!

Monitor ...I am glad you found this article helpful. I am especially glad you found the information about sugar helpful. Just remember, it takes 21 days to break a habit and only one mistake to start it again.

When I began to work on this part of my life (sugar) ,,it was very difficult. I can now say that I can look at candy in a dish on the table and not take a piece of it. I have had one of my favorite candies in the freezer for over a year and I just took it out to throw away. You can do it ...and you will feel so much better. But I will warn you ..sugar is more addicting than alcohol ..and way harder to quit.

Thank you for coming by and my best to your health!

Thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge. By the way, can you think of an alternative for sugar? It should be something sweet but not harmful. If you do, let us know because I just can’t imagine a life without sugar.

Agave is probably one of the best replacements for sugar. This substitute is very pleasant to the taste. It is a liquid and easy to use.

Another one is Stevia ...but I would have to say Agave is my favorite. And, yes I agree, we are really used to sugar and it is not easy to say no to ...but when you do, you will be glad you did!!

Thank you for coming by and my best to your health!

GK16 ... Organic Raw Blue Agave nectar is one of the best sources of replacements for sugar and is low in the glycemic indexs ...anywhere from 19 to 34 depending on the brand. This tells you that it should not spike blood sugar levels. I believe you will be satisfied with the results.

My best to your health!
