Aloe Vera the Miracle Plant

- ALOE VERA: HOLISTICALLY PERFECT PLANT
Do you think Aloe Vera is expensive cactus juice? Then you need to read this! I am sure you will never look upon an Aloe Vera plant the same way again...
A Miracle Plant? Can I Drink it?
Aloe Vera is often referred to as the "Miracle Plant". Even though it is such a miraculous plant ...many people do not have a clue of the essential benefits they could get by drinking the juice of an Aloe Vera plant.
If I told you that you could drink the juice of an Aloe Vera plant, you would probably think of the Aloe Vera juice as green and shimmy. But what you do not know is you can drink the juice of an Aloe Vera plant and it is actually pleasantly easy to drink. Today the "whole plant" is used in the process.
When Aloe Vera is made into a juice, the juice is yellow or redish in color and often available in different flavors. My favorite is Strawberry-Kiwi Aloe Vera juice. Natural fruits are added for the desired taste.
If you have experienced what the gel from the leaf of an aloe vera plant can do for a burn, you might have some idea what Aloe Vera can do for burn like feelings on the inside of your body. You know that feeling when you've eaten something that just didn't agree with you.
Many people keep an Aloe Vera plant on their shelf in the kitchen just for those moments when "ouch" you touch something hot. Instantly they cut the leaf, apply the gel and "ahhhh" relief! And most times no blistering. See what is meant by miracle plant?
Now think about this ...what do you think is happening to the inside of your stomach when you get a stomachache or indigestion? You bet!!! Burn! At least it feels like a burn and if you could look inside your stomach that is constantly being abused and irritated, it would surprise you to see what is happening. But Aloe Vera can do on the inside exactly what it does on the outside ...with NO bad side effects ...only good ones!!
I hope this has helped you understand just one of the benefits there are when drinking the juice from a plant that goes as far back as biblical time.
I strongly recommend reading any or all of the following books.

i too have done a hub on aloe vera though mostly concentrated on its medicinal properties.
I did not know it could be ingested. Have you ever researched how common it is for people to become sensitized to Aloe Vera?
Thank you for your post. I invite questions about aloe vera. It is one of my favorite products to talk about.
There are many, many studies on the therapeutic benefits of properly stabalized aloe vera ...and yes it can be ingested. As a matter of fact, it really tastes great. The Mango/Papaya is one the people's favorite.
I have worked with Stabalized aloe vera for 20 years and I have never found anyone to have any allergic reaction to this product. As a matter of fact, it is so safe, even my grandson and grandaughter drank it mixed with water in their baby bottle for colic. They are now 4 and 6 years old and they call it "NaNa's Juice" ...and they drink it mixed in their favorite juice. They ask for it and I enjoy knowing that is it safe and has many benefits for their health.
The most popular one is Mango-Papaya and I invite you to read for yourself .... Down load the FREE PDF at healthysystems.com and read the many benefits to drinkable aloe vera. It does as much on inside as it does on the outside of your body.
Aloe vera can be ingested I take aloe vera pills! They help with just about everything! Check out my hub and see a list of benefits of using aloe vera.
I have seen and tried the pills. The only thing is the liquid gets into your system right now. I think any way you can get aloe in you or on you is a benefit ....I am glad to see you enjoy its benefits ...we have been using and selling aloe for over 20 years and really know and enjoy the benefits.
Amazing...I never thought to connect that what it does for our outsides, it can do for our insides. Nice information!
Thanks desert blondie ....I believe the reason people do not connect this information is because it has been marketed in so many creams and ointments that when you tell people that they can drink it ...they say ..."are you kidding!" They think of a green juice ...and that does not sound so good. But it is really great tasting ...at least ours is (Best Tasting Aloe, Guaranteed) and I don't miss a day!
Thank you again for connecting!! My best to your health and happiness!
Hi GJCody, I love aleo Vera and I have used it on my skin for a long time but I have never drank the juice... Have you ever tried Mango steen Juice and is Mango Steen Juice similar to Aloe Vera in the healing properties? Thanks Keep up the good work. I love your blogs
AutisminsideOut .... This is not unusual ...most people do know that it has a lot of healing abilities ..but do not connect the fact that they can drink it. As you can see in the picture ...it looks quite appealing. Aloe Vera does have many healing properties. Check out the values of the plant ... http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-Aloe-Vera
And to your question about Mango steen Juice ...No ...I have never tried it. I do know that Mango is great for the stomach ...would that be a fact with it? I certainly will read more about it. I have not heard of it.
Thank you for your comment and look forward to seeing you again. My best to you and yours!
I've never thought about the healing properties of drinking the Aloe Plant, I do know when I got a sunburn this year I went to the grocery store and found my Aloe Plant right in the fresh produce isle under the sprinkler! Thanks for this hub, gjcody.
Thank you MsKnowALot for stopping by ...yes, most people do realize what it can do for a sunburn ...I hope I can help people realize the added benefits that Aloe Vera Juice can do for the inside.
As a matter of fact ...it does taste good too! Now how can you beat that?
It is great to see you again ....please visit again! My best to you and your health!
I remember having an aloe vera plant in the kitchen growing up. I'm ready to go out and by one now. I am usually super careful about sun exposure, but managed to get a painful sunburn this weekend - so not cool. I've been using aloe vera gel like it's going out of style. In fact, my brand new tube is almost gone. I've been mixing it with lavender oil, and it has been so soothing. No peeling yet, so fingers crossed. I haven't been sunburnt in over ten years and cannot believe I let this happen.
I wish I could reach through the computer and hand you our aloe cream ...it is remarkable what it does and is soothing. We use it on the children for diaper rash and that is a real burn.
But I am not trying to sell you ..I am just flattered that you stopped by and took the time to post an article and I will be back to read more of your postings. You are some gal ...a lot of work ...I do know because I have "been there and done that"!! ...you know the deal ...the cat, dog, children, and whoever forget you are around. They walk by me and pretend I am not here because I am so intense.
Again Congratulations!
I am convinced about the benefits of drinking Aloe Vera juice, but was concerned about the taste. I developed heartburn when I moved from the East Coast to the West Coast almost four years ago, and started to eat Mexican food, and heavier foods; I have toned it down somewhat. What convinced me to drink aloe vera juice is your comment about indigestion being a burn! Just purchased a mango/papaya flavored juice from you though Paypal. :) My order will show as coming from "Nature's Path".
Thank you very much for buying our "Best tasting aloe" ...Aloe Pure 5000, You will love it. Not only does it taste good, you will receive many benefits you are not aware of yet. Again ...as I said ..I believe in vibration and for some reason, I decided to pick up the laptop and check my hubpages this morning ...as I was going to do my usual ...do my runing and check later ...and there you were! When I can help one more person understand the benefits ...I have sccomplished my job!!
You will love the taste ...thank you very much for stopping by again ..please come back again ... and my best to your health!!
I also believe in vibration and thought the exactly the same thing last night, that it was meant to be that you crossed my path, so thank you!
VioletSun ...I thank you again for your order ...I made sure it was shipped out today UPS ...I know you will enjoy the Mango Papaya ..It is one of our favorite flavors. It is also an exclusive.
Be sure to take it in the morning and night before bed ...or if your stomach is bothering you. I use a shot glass for those time.
I plan on stopping by again to read more of your hubs. You are an interesting person. My best to your health and success!
Hi gjcody, I have used aloe for many years On occassion, I have used the capsules for regularity... Does fresh aloe juice also have this laxitive property?
J
Thank you for asking that question. No ...the aloin that gives the laxitive effect is removed from the juice. Having this done and stabilizing the juice ...the benefits of Aloe Vera Juice is unbelievable ...You would not believe ...You just have to read this testimony about gentle benefit it has with a child and then you would realize the greatness of this product. http://www.healthysystems.com/testimonies/asthma.h In fact this childs mother would cross miles to get the product ...and her child is now in her teenage years and we feel that we have changed the life of a child that would have been dependent on perscription meds....and perhaps even given her extended happier years. That is a good feeling.
We love helping people ...we love making a difference ...even if it is one step at a time.
Thank you for coming by and please stop again ...my best to your health too!
Received my order from you, thank you! I took my first oz of the Papaya/Mango Aloe Vera juice this morning and was a little nervous it would not taste very good, but I was pleasantly surprised that its not bad tasting at all! I am not mixing it with juice or water. I am in perimenopause and want to keep myself healthy and figure drinking aloe vera will help.
VioletSun ...I am confident you would enjoy Aloe. Actually Mango/Papaya is our best selling ...although all the flavors are equally good. It is just your preference. Some like a wine/grape flavor and they buy Cran/Grape. Others are forever sold on Strawberry/Kiwi because it was one of the original flavors when we started in 1999.
Anyway you look at it and any flavor you like ...it is all good for you. I am so glad you have decided to try it. Actually, you will look forward to drinking it.
Again ..it is one of those times ...(and it is late 2:23 a.m.) and I decided I would check to see if anyone commented ..and there you are again ...good vibration.
Let me know how things are going ...will connect soon ...my best to your health and thanks again for believing!!
My parents had an aloe vera plant which they used for multiple purposes.
Countrywomen ..Yes almost everyone knows or has had an aloe plant in their house and they know the benefits of an aloe plant when it comes to burns. The real shame is most people don't know they can drink it and that it tastes good ...and can make you healthier everyday that you drink it. As I have said many times ..I don't leave home without it. As a matter of fact ...I am looking at a bottle of Aloe Pure Juice that I have taken with me on this trip ..Mango/Papaya. "I don't leave home without it!" It is truly a miracle plant.
Thank you for stopping by and please stop again. My best to you!
So how do you make its juice? Cut the leave and put it in the juicer or maybe write a hub making aloe vera juice :-)
Countrywomen ..sorry if you misunderstood me ..I don't make the juice. I have a major manufacturer make it. I am a wholesale company that distributes it to retailers. It is from the Aloe Barbadensis Plant and it is organically grown south of the border of US. The area that it is grown makes a difference.
The company that makes it has gone before the FDA and defended the Aloe Plant to be drinkable. The industry was making claims about the benefits and cures it had and of course in our country no one can make claims with out being able to substantiate it. The company that makes my product does have the studies.
Because of his strength to do the work ...many companies have the benefit of being able to drink Aloe. But all aloes are not equal. The process of extracting the juice is the secret that makes one better than another.
I hope I have cleared up your question ...The plant that we grow in the house is not as efficacious ...but I would put it on a burn if it was the only aloe around.
Thanks for coming back and hope to see you soon. My best to you and your health!
Is this juice product available in supermarkets now?
countrywomen ...the product is available at healthysystems.com for retail and it is also available at some of the natural health stores. We work with chiropractors and natural grocery stores and we do have independent distributors online ..like nutritionalbaseddisorders.com Please check us out.
Thanks for coming back to visit .. talk soon! M best to you and your health!
gjcody, I have been reading your series about aloe vera. I think I need to try some!
k@ri ...you will be so glad you did. I started drinking aloe 15 years ago and I don't leave home without it. If I have any stomach aches or anything ..it is always the answer and I just drink it for the general immune building part. It just knows where to go to help you. Aloe is a legend of all times ...thank you for your comment and stopping by ...I wish you the best of health and success.
Thanks. This is very informative.
Thanks Philipo ...I am glad you enjoyed the article. I always find it helpful to give people the information of how I drink this wonderful healthful juice.
Thanks for coming by again and your comment ...My best to you!
Would you give it to an infant for colic? How young?
Julie ...Aloe Vera Juice is safe enough for any age. In fact, we would dip the pacifier in Aloe Pure and it would relieve my grandchildren's colic. My grandchildren always ask me for "Na Na's Juice." LOL ...Of course that is what they call it because they always see me drinking it and they love the taste of it. Sometimes I mix it with their juice.
I wonder? What does aloe taste like is it bitter or does it have a sweet like taste or does it burn your mouth just wondering because when me and my cousin were walking around in an Asian market today me and my cousin got both discouraged and wonder if aloe really taste bad? Because usually most foods won't throw me off and I didn't expect aloe to be related to something that you would drink and usually I think of aloe as you think of it as a natural ointment that treats cuts and burns and here's another odd plant that I found out about. When I was watching the show on the Travel Channel known as Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern and on this episode he's somewhere in south eastern Asia so I don't remember what country it was and he mentions that algae can be eaten and one way that you can eat algae is by putting it on toast or bread now this seems odd to me because does it taste awfully bitter it just comes to my mind even if I've never tried it in my life and yes it can be drink as a liquid as well known as pond scum. Wright me a comment back about these two plants so I know more about them and as well feel more comfortable about them as well if I ever try eating these two types of plants. Thanks for helping.

Aloe Vera is one of the top superfoods. I have used it for a severe allergic reaction to a skin ointment, which was like a third degree burn on my leg and foot. It is also our emergency kit around the home, as our 4 year old is always coming in from the garden showing her scrapes and cuts, asking for aloe vere.
As a superfood though, be careful not to over process, as the valuable nutrients are ddestroyed. if you are making a drink, add the gel last and just give a quick whizz.
