Just watched a recent interview with Adam Lambert and atleast he knows he went a little too far! I will commend him for that
The Adam Lambert Controversy from the american music awards caused more bad publicity then good! Adam Lamberts mock oral show was either a sign of mis-management or bad personal decisions toward his career goals.

I would say most people liked Adam as the REAL winner of American Idol last season. With this being said I believe his decision making in his live american music awards performance shows he not only lacks the personal discretion to be a hero for our kids and teenagers as a pre-destined rock icon , Adam Lambert somehow equates the acceptance of his gay sexual tendancies by his fans to mean we all want to see him act them out live on stage.
The american music awards are watched live by families countrywide and even in other nations also. If he wanted to further his career as a musician , I believe he damaged his hopes on that night.
I believe Adam Lambert is a very talented singer. I also believe that he has some issues to work out if he wants to be a REAL american idol. Just because we like his music does not mean we cant wait to see his gay antics on tv!!!!
Adam Lambert....Are you a gay singer or are you a great singer who happens to be gay? Please make up your mind or watch your career dissapear in front of your very own eyes and very quickly at that.
Adam Lambert.... Be the singer your capable of being and leave your sexual preferences at the door. Since when does singing have to do with your sexuality anyway? People in general dont listen to music because it is either gay or straight! We listen to music because we enjoy the lyrics , the sounds , and the talent it must take to create this beautiful rythem.
I only hope Adam Lambert can figure this out before itds too late for him and his career.
Here is an update on the Adam Lambert "whats next' news. Adam has recently "come out of the closet" in a Rolling Stone Magazine Interview. Adam says "I dont think it should be a surprise to anyone that I am gay". Adam had considered speaking of his sexuality right after the Idol finale but he decided to wait for Rolling Stone.
In the interview with Rolling Stone Lambert says "I am proud of my sexuality I embrace it , its just another part of me".

American Idol dissapointed me tonight. Who should have won Adam or Kris? Here are my opinions on what happened.
I am convinced that " America " does not understand the meaning of "American Idol." As I understand it, it should be the person who exceeds the most vocal and stage talent!! Not looks,not how many fans are in the following but, who has the most vocal talents!!! I`m pretty sure we would all agree upon that. If you actually watch and follow the show.
In my opinion, Alison and Danny had very strong vocals, Kris was teetering back and forth,never having a strong edge . Adam ,however, has never let anyone down. Again, in my opinion, Adam is LEATHER and LACE !!! He could take anything the judges gave him, and he made it HIS!!! From heavy metal to a love song !! Never heard anything like it!!
I think , maybe , voting should be different on American Idol. I think that we have a bunch of young girls voting for Kris because he is adorable(and yes, a wonderful singer) but they are not thinking about TRUE talent. That`s where American Idol goes wrong. Simon had said numerous times that if Adam didn`t win it would be the biggest upset in Idol history!! Guess what....He is right!!!
That`s right ....He is right!!! Kris is terrific, but Adam is the most versatile performer I have ever seen since American Idol has ever started !!! And in my mind , Kris was voted American Idol because he is a "Justin Timberlake" sort of guy. And there is nothing wrong with that BUT, the competition is suppose to be about VOCAL TALENT and Stage performance. And I`m sorry , but clearly,...... Adam (LEATHER AND LACE) should have had it by far!!!!! No need to tally votes!!!
In my opinion, I think that if we are looking for an "American Idol", then we need to change the way america votes , or the voting system. The way the system is set up now is that anyone can vote (which is sort of fair) But people are voting without any knowledge of the music industry , vocals ,or stage performance at all !!!

I would have to agree. It is not about gay or not, Adam has the better voice and is marketable. Kris will fadew away, Adam will not. He will be the mega star. If Adam really lost the vote then the voting system needs to change, I could not eben get thru the first hour, busy signals. for Adam, Then I fell asleep. How many votes did not get heard! Adam is a rockstar!
Kris Allen seems to be a sweet guy who can play the piano and the guitar and would make a good lounge singer or an opening act for a big star (a star such as Adam Lambert). Adam Lambert is the most impressive, charismatic, vocally talented singer ever to appear on American Idol. The range, the stage presence, the deep intelligence revealed in interviews, the personal likeability factor ... no competition. In Kris Allen's initial reluctance to accept the title, it was evident that even he realized he did not deserve to win, as he said, "Adam deserves this." Kris is a class act, but Adam is the phenomenal star and surely would have won with a better voting system in place. This is a sad day. I believe Adam possesses the maturity and wisdom to understand what has taken place and what it all really means, but it's too bad that this injustice is going to follow him around for years.
adam should have won - I wish we could start up some sort of protest page...but I didn't want adam to be an idol puppet either..I didn't want him to sing that stupid song...he was so much better than american idol I almost felt sorry for everyone else....I think they should charge a dollar a vote and donate it to charity. Or something. The perfect win would have been adam winning and NOT having to do a contract.....I just kept thinking about him having to do what they tell him...like caging a wild animal...that would have been sad too. (but I still wanted him to win because it he did deserve it but he also deserves much much more than anything Idol could ever give him)
Ok, Adam and Kris are both really good singers, and Adam should have won from the two of them, BUT, Danny was the best! He should have won and Allison should have made it further then she did. When she was voted off, it should have been Kris instead. Danny was the best, Period.
you know what else is kind of sad? That they put Kris - a very nice guy - in that position - he was not the best and he shouldn't have won - and he knew it. I wouldn't want something I didn't deserve. It's not his fault something happened with the voting...and something did happen - something not fair happened.....

ADAM... if you all didn't notice, American idol has to do with the better voice. doesn't matter about musical instrument they play or whatever. If you heard Simon, he even said Adam was the best. Every week Adam got the best comments by the judges, in fact he never got more than 3 bad ones on the show. THAT PROVES IT ALL. oh and also Adam is way more remember-able. we will just see who has more record albums. Kris Allen will just be another Taylor Hicks. Also Danny should have gotten 2nd. Yes Adam should of won but actually I do not think it matters. He is the bigger star. There are a million guys out there that sound like Kris. Nobody sounds like Adam. I do not call the strumming on the guitar that Kris does actual guitar playing. Adam is the best they have every found. They should not of robbed him.
I am from the Philippines and right now feel a deep ache in my system because Adam Lambert did not win! I agree with the others that he was robbed of the title. Week after week, he has shown what an incredible talent he is, actually, the best in American idol history. I have seen various comments from different websites coming from different countries about Adam Lambert not winning the competition and almost everybody feels that he was robbed. Kris is a nice guy with a good voice. Sad to see how he is feeling right now being the title holder but with a big question mark following him wherever he goes. I wonder how he will be able to gather people to see him if he is not with Adam. He is another Taylor Hicks. Even David Archuleta was always surrounded with fans compared to David Cook during their concert here last May 16, and he is also a runner up. Just saw Adam sang Mad World at the Today Show in New York and observed how the people were all so quiet listening to him. Had goose bumps all over again just like the first time I heard Adam sang the same song in idol. Hands down, Adam is the best!! In all the years that I've followed American Idol, this is the first time that I've felt so strongly in a contestant and that was when Adam sang Satisfaction. OMG, he is a total performer and I was hooked! From then on, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Philippines is a day ahead in time) were not the same without Adam in our living room! That's Adam! He has affected a lot of people with his incredible vocals, his attitude, and presence. In our hearts, HE IS THE AMERICAN IDOL! Can't wait to buy his cds.
