American Book Trade Index at Flickr

I've tried building a database as a free reference to bibliographers, archivists and collectors that would include all known ephemera and information on different companies related to the book trade in America. Like an American version of the British Book Trade Index. For now, it will be restricted to all book trades before the 20th Century. These can be advertising covers, letterhead, trade-cards, adverts, anything! Also, my working definition of "Book Trade" has included not only booksellers and publishers but also: paper makers, ink makers, printers, printing press makers, bookbinders, newspapers, lithographers, etc. Since I couldn't get that up and going, I decided load everything into a Flickr group and go from there. It is up and running, so come on over and share!
