Paul Abdul leaves American Idol. Some have mixed views and say that the “new judge” on the Americal Idol has written for grammy winning artists and bring more to the reality series than Paula. Still others say that American Idol will not be the same without Paula.

Paula has had her days with a fan stalking Paula until she just fell out in front of Paula’s mansion. But what about the feud that Simon Cowell and Paula has that is almost like a big brother and little sister fighting over who is the best talent. Americans may not watch as much of American’s Idol because the “soul” of the show will not be present.

Paula made losing on American Idol look like winning. She always had something positive to say and said that she was a fan to the many who did not become a Kelly Clarkson or a Carrie Underwood. Paula can spot talent and her stay at American Idol has seen the TV audience increase significantly. In fact more people voted for their favorite American Idol than who voted in the presidential elections.

Paula also has had her fair share of scandal while on the show. At one time there was talk that she was having a affair with a young contestant who had not won the television competition. But Paula pulled through there incidences that come with being on television weekly.

American Idol will not be the same without Paula. Everyone looked forward to her opinion of their talent as they faced the American Idol panel of judges. They looked for Randy to call them “dawg” in lieu of their real names and for Simon to negate their talent down to tears and bad mouthing. Still, Paula will be missed and if the new judge that has been on for a few seasons plan to replace her, she had better have another thought coming. The ”new judge” does not have the charisma that Paula has. Her comments about the American Idol Contestants most of the time is just a reiteration of what Randy Jackson as stated.

During the last season of American Idol, it was like their were two sets of judges, Randy Jackson and the new judge, Paula and Simon Cowell. Suffice it to say which set of judges were more interactive with the audiences. Contestants on the American Idol stage looked forward to Paula kinds remarks as she lulled them into another direction or praised them of their talents and became a fan. The guy contestants would often sing to Paula if they were singing a love song and a few danced with her during their auditions.

Paula never acted surprise and it was amazing with which she delivered her comments about the contestants. She always made her comments to jibe with the individual contestants and spoke of their continued improvement as they progressed through the American Idol competition. Paula shed many tears as she said goodbye to contestant after contestants as sometimes America’s favorite did not make it to the final. Yet Paul had the penchant to pick the winners and to accurately forecast if an American Idol contestant would make it to the finals.

Paula never put a contestant down like the infamous Simon Cowell and her comments to them would be to return after taking a few singing lessons or improving upon their talents. Paula Abdul will be missed as one of the original American Idol judges
