One of the 'Cinderella stories' of this season's American Idol, Lakisha Jones (or 'Kiki' as we found out during the Diana Ross episode) is a single parent with a voice that blows most of her competition right off the stage. At this point in the competition, it could easily be considered a two woman race - she and Melinda Doolittle have so thoroughly dominated the rest of the field.

Interesting how things change over a couple weeks. Now it's definitely a three person race with Jordin Sparks climbing the ladder, and I now am concerned that Lakisha might be our 'shocker vote out' (like Jennifer Hudson) around week seven or so. Folks, if you like Lakisha Jones, don't get complacent and stop voting or you will lose her! Remember we have a surprise round every season where someone who's very talented gets the axe (**cough Chris Daughtry cough**) so keep those fingers dialing!
