In any other season, Stephanie Edwards would have been a standout and a shoo-in for the final five with her photogenic looks, powerhouse voice and general bubbly attitude. Unfortunately with two more talented powerhouses in the group (Lakisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle) and a rival for the 'bubbly factor' in Jordin Sparks, poor Stephanie ends up being the also ran.

A poor song arrangement in week one of the final twelve ("Love Hangover" minus all the funky disco bits) has left Stephanie Edwards vulnerable. If she survives a few more weeks, she may emerge as a contender - but unfortunately so far this season there has been nothing particularly memorable about her.
