I think it is utterly ridiculous that Sanjaya is still on the show. I have nothing against him personally, but there are a lot of other contestants that are SOOOOOOOOOO much more talented and worthy of praise and admiration. My hubby and I have been avid Idol fans for the last four seasons and we CAN'T BELIEVE this guy is still there. Every week we drop our jaws in disgust and shock.
He should have been gone a long time ago. Now we here that Howard Stern and his 2million listeners are trying to screw up the voting on American Idol and put Sanjaya on top! There are four ladies who deserve to be in the top 5, one of them should already be declared winner...Melinda of course. But Jordan and Lakesha are sounding great too. Let's hope that more fans will make the vote count to keep the dignity of AI alive!

I don't watch this show so this entire retrospective of his 48-minute career was helpful. :-) I do think, though, that he should pay tribute to Janet Jackson with his next song, since he's done so with his hair styles (I think he's about halfway through Rhythm Nation 1814 so far)
