American Idol Continues (season 7)
Television's hit show, American Idol, comes back for its 7th season when it premieres the 15th of January. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the show empowers viewers to discover America's next solo singing superstar by voting for their favorites to win the honor of being American's next Idol.
Thousands of hopefuls from across the USA audition for a shot at the title "Idol". The show's judges - Paula, Simon and Randy - go through the list of competitors to a select group of semifinalists who sing their hearts out each week for the studio audience and you, the television viewer. The judges have their say after every performance, but it's the viewing public that determines who will go on or go home.

Every year American Idol changes something. Sometimes for the better and sometimes not.
One thing they should change is having the idol that is cast off sing the same song that got them voted off in the first place. They should, at least, let them sing a favorite song choice that they sang very well. Let them go out on a positive note. No pun intended.

2/12/08 - What do you think about the new "Welcome to Hollywood" format. During the first round 48 out of 168 songbirds made it through. Did you notice that one of the hopeful brought a coach, which was a formely hopeful from session 4. During the second round over half were cut and the third round they allowed background singers. So, what do you think of the changes?
