Amy Winehouse caught the headlines for her smash hit song (oh yes, 'smash hit', we're doing this old skool all the way baby), now where were we? Oh yes, her smash hit 'Rehab' in which she declared repetitively her desire not to attend rehab. Just months later however, she was collapsing, and OD'ing, and having her stomach pumped in a most unpleasant fashion. The harbinger, or 'cause' as some like to call it, of this OD was a three day bender involving Ketamine (a.k.a Horse Tranquiliser), Ecstacy, Cocaine, Vodka and Whiskey.

Once she had been bought back from the brink of oblivion by skilled medical professionals, Amy seemed to have had an awakening, or as our favorite TV Talkshow queen might like to say 'A lightbulb moment'. Amy spoke out about her overdose, saying that it: "was one of the most terrifying moments of my life... I don´t know what happened... I was so out of control. It just happened. It shocked me."

So shocked was Amy by this overdose that she checked not into rehab, but a hotel, where she proceeded to get caught trying to shoot up with Heroin only a day or two later. Slow learner, much?

Rehab turned out not to be the easy solution it had seemed to be either however. Unfortunately the pair (the pair in question being her husband and, well, Amy herself, obviously) fought so much that they decided to leave and get yet another hotel room. Sources at the facility said: "It is supposed to be a peaceful backdrop to help people deal with their problems. But Amy and Blake kept rowing and spoiling the ambiance. While Amy would be welcomed back with open arms, I'm not sure they'd say the same for Blake. Everyone is really worried that if they are let loose in London again they'll just go straight back to their old druggy habits."

And back to their old druggy habits they went! Well, Amy anyway. The upshot of all this turmoil was a violent altercation which ensued when Blake caught Amy cutting herself in their hotel room, and preparing to do some drugs with a hooker. How the hooker came to be in the hotel room has never been explained.

Upon discovering Amy's hijinks, Blake lost his nut (became quite enraged), and proceeded to beat the hell out of Amy, or perhaps she decided to beat the hell out of him, sources are fuzzy on the exact story, but what we can be sure of is that the two came screaming through the hotel lobby with torn clothing and the marks of fisticuffs well in evidence.

That's the story in a nutshell, up to this point anyway. It is pretty clear that Amy Winehouse needs to go to rehab, and that her husband needs to stop hitting girls and then getting beaten up by them, it's just not manly.
