As some of you know, I've been clairaudio since the age of 4 and tend to ignore the voices I so often hear. Sometimes, I hear two voices at once or a roomful and sometimes just one. If they are loud, persistant and commanding, I tend to pay more attention to them, but not cooperate until I think about the consequences of what they are wanting me to do.

Last Friday, June 20th, I was pretty exhausted at 3:30 in the afternoon, ready to finally sit down at my computer to rest. I work at an inground pool construction office consisting of just me and two male designers. I was alone in my office since noon, except for the walk-in potential customers every hour or so and needed to concentrate on it being Friday and ready to go home at 5:00.

After finally sitting down at the computer for about 10 minutes, I hear an older male voice, anxiously trying to tell me "Amy's coming!" He continues to be persistant after I tried to ignore him and tell him silently that I was tired and didn't care to hear his command. I didn't personally know anyone named Amy and didn't want to listen. A minute later, I hear him again! "Get up and go out front, Amy's coming!" I thought, I want to smoke a cigarette and take a break, so I might as well go stand out front to see what this male spirit is so excited about.

I got up, grabbed my cigarette and lighter, stepped outside the door, and not 30 seconds later, a black car pulls up in front of the office. A tall blonde lady, probably in her middle 20's, steps out of the car, looking at the sign about our office, starts walking towards me smiling. I don't usually blurt things out, but I felt I was pushed with spiritual energy to speak to her. I asked her," Are you Amy?" Immediately, her face went from smiling to bewilderment, saying "Yes, who are you?" I answered, "My name is D.... and I work here." She asked me,"How do you know my name?" "Nobody knows I'm here." "I didn't tell my husband I was coming, so how did you know?"

I thought, "Oh no!" "Now I have to explain." I felt like the spirit wasn't going to let me make up something to tell her, like..."You look like an Amy I know."

I told her that if I told her how I knew her name, she wouldn't beleive me. She quickly said " I've never seen you before in my life and you knew my name, so yeah...I think I'm willing to listen."

I told her a little about myself being clairaudio and that I kept hearing a persistant male voice telling me "Amy's coming" and that I needed to go outside and wait.

She said " That's weird, cause I only just heard of your pool company and that it was located around here somewhere and saw you standing here so when I looked up and saw your sign, I knew I was at the right place."

We came to the conclusion that her grandfather, whom she was always close to, was the one who helped her find our office. Of course she had more questions about my ability to communicate with spirits than about the construction of pools, but we still made a great connection between strangers.

I thought "Maybe....the reason her grandfather was so persistant in my giving her visual aid, was so she wasn't in a car accident later, or that she didn't have enough gas to get lost, or who knows?"

I believe everything happens for a reason, I just hope it's for a good reason in my case!
