An Amazing Composer and Song Writer--Neil Diamond

Neil Diamond has always had a place in my heart. I was amazed at his entertainment and singing since a young girl. He is just so talented with the songs that he writes and his perfomances of them.
When I saw him in the early 70's movie and the only one that he did, "The Jazz Singer", he just pierced a part of my heart. There are so many songs of his that I could put here, but don't have the room. It would take a very long article to add them all.

Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon 1967 (theme song for Pulp Fiction),
Neil was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1941. When he got a guitar for his 16th birthday he wrote a song for his girlfriend, Hear Them Bells and when he turned 18 he wrote another song, Blue Destiny. It took 8 years after that for him to hit pay dirt with his famous song that I have below, Solitary Man.
This article is taking me a long time to write because as I add the videos I am also listening to them as I do. I better let you get on and enjoy his masterpieces as I do. What a wonderful gift he has been given and how loving that he should share it with us.

I always liked Niel Diamond; he had so many great songs. I have his guitar and I love to play that stuff. Unfortunately I can't carry a tune in a wheel barrow but that doesn't stop me from singing.

I don't have anything of his--I don't know why, I just don't. I also love Barbara Streisand, but have nothing of hers either. Strange...I don't have anything to listen to them with anyway. Husband put the cord to the CD plaer someplace and it has been a year and I still have not found it. LOL
