You are having a party and you have already spent over a day preparing for it when all the sudden it hits you, you haven't an appetizer. AHHH! It's okay, really it is. Are you ready for a quick fix dish? I have one for you, CHEESE BALL!

I am a cheese lover like so many people are. Here is a recipe idea that you can add your own ingredients to give it a personal touch. And the best thing about a cheese ball is you can seasonalize it. You can form it into a ball and coat with shredded cheddar cheese add chopped black olives to create a face and you have a pumpkin. Form three different sized balls, stack them and coat with shredded mozzarella cheese add black olives for the face and buttons and you have a snow man. The creativity is endless when it comes to a cheese ball. Now here is that recipe.

Stage 1. Gather your ingredients. (Double or triple depending on party size)

1-bag shredded mozzarella

1-bag shredded cheddar

1-pkg.cream cheese

1-pkg. thin sliced beef lunch meat

3-green onions

1/4-cup dill pickle juice

Stage 2. Finely chop beef slices and green onions.

Stage 3. Put aside about 1/4 cup of mozzarella and 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese. Stage 4. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and kneed with fingers until mixed well.

Stage 5. Form into shape of choice.

Stage 6. Coat with shredded cheese and decorate to your liking.

Stage 7. ENJOY! Put on top of crackers, bagels, even veggies.

This dish is a hit and by adding your own ingredients well it just makes it even better. There are so many great appetizer ideas out there that are easy and fun to create.
