A Revolutionary Proposal to End Terrorism

The Privilege of Passage created by author John Errett is mentioned at the end of his new spy thriller, "The Owl and the Hawk". The book is fictitious but the plan is not.

The plan requires no guns, ammunition, SWAT teams, anti terrorist training, Navy Seals or any other Special Forces to combat radical Islam. It is a plan that does not discriminate against any nation or religion (Errett is very supportive of all peaceable religions and has great empathy for the silent Muslim majority).

The plan relies on governments being held accountable through the forces of finance.

Here is some background about the plan's author.

John Errett is no stranger to the Middle East, corporate and government red tape or the security world.

A native New Yorker now living in Florida, John Errett has seen the world. His multiple careers; first as president of Holiday Planning Corp., a world wide travel organization; then as a co-founder of United Intelligence, Inc. (UNITEL) and later as vice president of strategic services for Conair Corporation, have afforded him 40 years of extensive international travel and cultural appreciation.

His interest in both the cultures and hostilities of the region peaked in 1975 when he was re-baptized in the River Jordan. It was the same year his company, Holiday Planning, received the "Shalom Award" from the Israeli Government.

As co-founder and vice president of UNITEL he worked on an element of the USA/Iranian hostage crisis in 1980 and 1981. Former Secretary of the Treasury, William E. Simon was a member of the UNITEL Advisory Board.

In 1985 he was appointed vice president of strategic services for Conair Corporation, a billion dollar international manufacturing firm.I believe, with all my soul and intellect, that Muslim fanatical terrorism poses the greatest threat to freedom the world has yet seen and unless defeated will ultimately conquer us.

John Errett says at the end of "The Owl and the Hawk",

"Amid the lands of Islam stands an enclave of freedom, a beacon...Israel. From the moment of my re-baptism in the river Jordan, and for the last 37 years, I have been deeply concerned with the hopes and aspirations of all peoples of the middle east. My visits to the region and my work in the private intelligence sector have enabled me to set down these words.

I originally intended this book to be a work of non fiction based on my experiences in the middle east. Yet, the very reason for writing the book was to convey to as many as possible the peril we face and to suggest a viable winning strategy. I therefore set out to embody my thoughts in an entertaining and suspenseful novel well salted with fact. You, the reader, will judge my success or failure.

I call this winning strategy the Privilege of Passage Plan (POP Plan). It consists of three powerful elements."

The book is pretty powerful. It is a gripping spy thriller that brings the reality of terrorism home. While the story line may be fiction, the types of events that happen in the book are very true to the real world events of today. Anyone who may have become complacent since 9/11 will realize that we are "not out of the woods" at all.

So once we are snapped to attention again - we could think - now what?

This is why "The Owl and the Hawk" is so compelling. The Privilege of Passage proposal to end terrorism is right at the end of it. It offers something to more than munch on for those who are willing to think outside the box.

I suggest going to the website and fill out the form for more information. Grassroot movements can and do move mountains.

The Privilege of Passage Plan is now before the State Department.

Fill out the form to find out more and to see if there is something that you can do.

I really enoyed the book and respect the fact that this author has taken the initiatives to write a counter terrorism proposal and create programs to help veterans and first responders.

Helping Our Homefront Heroes

John Errett now has a new program to help underfunded first responders and ems departments in their fund raising efforts. The new site is: http://www.booksforthebrave.com

Here is the latest copy from that site (but I notice that it keeps changing because the site is still new).

Want to be a Hero to a Hero?

It's easy,

Through Books for the Brave.

Did you know that many of our country's firefighters regularly put their lives on the line - voluntarily?

Did you know that many of our country's small town police and fire departments operate on shoestring budgets?

Yet they do their jobs - even when they do not have the budgets to get the things they need to do their jobs.

A lot of these departments struggle and live on the hope that a grant will be funded. But grant writing is a tedious and time consuming activity that often has little or no results.

Fundraising is the only recourse for these departments - but the reality is that bake sales do not typically raise a lot of funds.

Want to get more funds for these brave men and women? Enjoy one of the most exciting thrillers ever written about Islamic terrorism and help our First Responders raise the funds they need.

Free Enterprise Press has begun a program to furnish complimentary copies of our latest novel, "THE OWL AND THE HAWK: An End to Terrorism" to our First Responders to use in their fundraising and public awareness campaigns about terrorism. To accomplish this, we offer First Responder Departments this suspenseful, educational, and entertaining thriller for the special price of $7.50 per book with shipping included (cover bookstore price is $19.95). A minimum order of 32 books is required but we will send you 64 books to help your fundraising efforts. This will yield a net profit of $796.80 to meet First Responder Department needs. The final chapter of this exciting book reveals a plan which, if in effect on 9/11, would have substantially mitigated losses from the terrorist attack. The plan, called the PRIVILEGE OF PASSAGE PLAN, is currently being reviewed by our State Department.
