An Experience I will Never Forget
63We just moved into our house and were busy unpacking and decorating. Every night we didn't go to bed till well after midnight. We then collapsed into our bed.
Then one night my husband woke me up and said, "I think there is somebody down stairs." I was so tired and told him to go asleep. After awhile he woke me up again. Being woken up twice, I definitely was out of my sleep. We listened, but nothing.
Being half awake I longed for a cup of coffee.
As I was walking along the landing and was going down the stairs, I could feel a very, very big hand holding me back gently. I couldn't believe it and I stopped literally being so shocked. There I stood and didn't know what to make of it.
Since I am a phlegmatic person I just turned and went back to bed. I was thinking that this stupid habit has to stop, making coffee the moment I wake up because it make me wake up automatically every night.
The next morning when we came down we could't believe our eyes.. We were burgled and they left the front door wide open.
The police came and on the fingerprints they found in our place they could catch them. By that time they had broken into ten houses.
When I think about it, I still can feel that big hand. If I would have gone down to make coffee, I dread to think..Whatever it was or whoever it was, definitely prevented me to go down. It also wasn't a human hand because it felt twice as big in width and length.
This is a true story

You are so right, Veronica Allen. It is unbelievable. Thank you for your comment.
Wonderful! Go Angels!!! I want to write a hub about agels soon and may backlink to this fascinating story. Crazy... these guys did this while you were sleeping right upstairs! How Brazen is that?? Good thing God is watching over us
Thank you, UP Star, for your message. I can assure you that it took us a long time to get over it.
Um nothing comes at that four am coffee habit. i was so tired i forgot to put the pot under the filter and we coffee was everywhere. Wish I had a ghost to help me make coffee in the morning. Casper the Coffee Man. My kind of ghost. Glad you were ok and did do run into the theft.
Your suggestion was very thought provoking. If you see Casper asked him if he has a brother and if, send him over. What a lovely idea. Thank you, Becca's blog, for sending me this lovely comment.

This sends chills up and down my spine! I know whatever it was, you are truly grateful. Who knows what could have happened if you had've gone downstairs as you previously planned.
